so basically head of transfers/recruitment above our head of recruitment Sean Kimberley

Also Technical director basically

A head of recruitment to sit above our head of recruitment?

Absolute jobs for the boys at Rovers.

More layers, more confusion, more money wasted, more people for Waggot to sack for the impending mess.

Its called having a proper sporting structure. Most clubs have this kind of structure in place at football club

So we’ve abandoned the DoF role?

if the Nixon stuff is true it suggests the rumours of 25% cuts across the board weren’t accurate.

More like we have split the role into 2 now. A guy for transfer and recruitment then one like Technical head of football

We just had a proper structure and it didn't work because nothing is allowed to work here so they've pulled it to pieces again because it's a convenient excuse to cover over the real problems.

This IS NOT a proper run football club.

I guess the new guy for recruitment will focus on recruitment, transfer process and making sure our transfer department is running right for what we need for us.

Nixon is saying Kimberley will work under the new head of recruitment/transfers

Priority has to be GK, CB, RW, LW, CF x 2

Keeper or perhaps just keeper coach.  It just seems too coincidental that our keepers seem to get worse the longer they are here.  However two of our (3 with Steele?) ex keepers now ply.their trade in one if the Worlds best leagues.  Could our REAL keeping issue be just lack of a decent keeper coach?

I think we may well also get enquiries for Tronstad and Carter. Other clubs will know that we're skint, so they'll try their luck.

Losing Tronstadt would be a big blow.  I grew to really like this lad.  Someone has to test the murky waters of Venky's.financing and their love for the baby.  Disgracefull get em out.

We seen a number of changes in the last few weeks like an experience football administrator like Baker replaced Silvester and we are looking to replace GB with his role being split into two with head of recruitment/transfers and the head of technical being appoint.

Lets see what the roles are officially and who they appoint.

We need 2 strikers... if this can be the cheap backup, then i'm all for it. Big lad, apparently a good finisher, only 24.

However, I fully expect these muppets to only sign 1 striker, in which case we need to be shopping a couple of levels above this.

Really? I don't expect them to sign any.

I'm sure they'll still find a way to fall short of that estimation.

Oh I think they'll sign one for sure...

Might end up being some cheap useless tosser that nobody else wants, but I do think they'll get one.

Correct. What a waste of money for a club supposedly without any, three roles that could be abolished and done by people already within the club and spent in players instead. Good move by Waggott though - 3 people to blame when it goes wrong and deflect blame from him

Waggott is 69 with millions in the bank but can’t even have the decency to live in the area.  Why is he still working except for the love of money?

three roles?

why is waste of money putting in a proper football structure into the club and not a manager and CEO? very few clubs run that way for good reasons nowadays

Fuck me, Steve Waggott now playing Football Manager to understand football a bit better.

Even I don't have a Technical Director in Football Manager. I'm not a savage.

Didn't you previously say that the DOF/head coach set up was a 'proper football structure' ? That ended well!

What makes you think, that under these owners and administrators, any structure would work?

In 2 years time, we'll be back to square 1. Again.

He just follows literally everything the club do and says it's the best step forward.

Does it with transfers too.
