superniko Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Moran and Buckley are playing brilliant. (Silly yellow card aside). Szmodics his usual self too. Well done John Eustace, well done to the 11 on the pitch, well done to the protestors and the Venkys Out chants. Let’s have another 45 minutes of that. 5 Quote

jim mk2 Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Lineker the wet blanket rubbishing the game but that was a pretty good half 8 Quote
Polky Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 I really hope we look at bringing in some pace in the summer. We’ve looked good on the break but our squad are really slow. Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 buckley has always had the ability to be a top player,it`s his consistency that`s let him down, some games he might as well not bother turning up,if he could do it week after week we`de have another 15 million pound player 1 Quote
AspRover Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 1. That's close to the best I've seen us play all season 2. Fadz has made a big difference 3. Dolan and Buckley looking really good, Moran not as much but a couple of good passes. 8 Quote
roverandout Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Eustace is looking a better tactician than jdt 2 Quote
WacoRover Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Szmodics giving the magpies a lot to worry about Quote

And all our other strikers are just as bad offensively so we might as well stick with him. 1 Quote
RTM08 Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Will take that at half time, can't really complain about anyone in that half bar the silly yellow. Ref is bent but it hasn't been an issue yet. Defence solid so far - very pleased with how Eustace has us set up, we just need to turn a chance into a goal, ideally before we have to make subs. Quote

1864roverite Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Ball throwing cretins you embarrassed yourself - 15 balls and a limp chant - my advice organise it properly or stay away it was laughable from a home supporter point of view and that from those want them out 1 10 Quote
superniko Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 Just like to add they look worse than we used to passing it around the back. A few times their defence has had a free header and it’s gone straight to us. They're really not that good at back at all, if we can keep it 0-0 and keep the pressure on then we’ll get more chances Telalovic winner from the bench? 😂 Quote

Ossydave Posted February 27, 2024 Posted February 27, 2024 No complaints there but concerning we'll tire and get punished for the missed chances 🙁 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted February 27, 2024 Backroom Posted February 27, 2024 Really good half the concern is that you wouldn’t expect Newcastle to be as bad again second half Quote
