So tired to hear this complaint’s about Gallagher he works his socks of for the team, and we are better with him on the pitch. Time to cher the guys for theirs effort, been a brilliant half for us

not sure about moran but buckley has been immense

Think hes done really well, hes looked after the ball well and found some good through balls. I can see if we had Garrett in there we just wouldn't be able to break so well.

Buckley however has looked different gravy. Looks top notch, sure a few Newcastle fans will be saying "whose this guy"?

Ball throwing cretins you embarrassed yourself - 15 balls and a limp chant - my advice organise it properly or stay away it was laughable from a home supporter point of view and that from those want them out

Led to a prolonged discussion on Venkys mismanagement on live national TV so I'd say they achieved the aim tbh.

Sadly he is paid to score goals

Played very well this half. Proud of the lads. The Newcastle goalkeeper is a bloody good 'un.

I wouldn't be concerned as much about Gallagher's lack of goals if he could do any of the other fundamentals that a target man should be able to do. Hold the ball up, win headers. He's so incompetent at both

Poor game, can't see Newcastle being aanywhere near as sad second half.

Thought Dolan was the pick of our players, Sz.odics  looks a danger but should have tried to go across the keeper with the two chances he had.

Buckley is one of the few in our team with the talent to hold his own in this Company but needs to be more involved.

How the fuck Gallagher gets away with conning people week after week is anyone's guess he's an absolute liability.

Be interesting if we make it to penalties. I think the manager deserves credit tonight for making us fairly compact.

Brilliant first half. Best I’ve seen us play this season. I think Gallagher has been good. He pops up everywhere, 2 headers from our own box helped out too. So close to being in front but I agree that relative strength of the benches might see us in bother if anyone has to go (looked like Gallagher had a problem late on).

Dolan, Buckley and Szmodics have been premiership quality. For Newcastle Guimaraes has impressed me but we’ve matched them and have had the better chances.

Yeah its mad isnt it, but take him out of the side and we have a big problem defensively. And all our other strikers are just as bad offensively so we might as well stick with him.

We only have one other senior striker - Leonard is injured and we just sold Ennis.

Yes, it didn't really work. It had to be big numbers or not at all
