I hope we've seen the last of him in a Rovers shirt.

enough is enough on the keeper front, get rid of pears and toth and just sign a basic, seasoned english goalkeeper from the  lower league who does`nt take prisoners when it comes to crosses and set pieces

Agreed. So many good ones on display during the facup earlier this season

Good luck with that plan, McBurnie, O'brien and Brereton weren't worthy a few weeks ago.

If Aynsley Pears gets a contract for 40 grand a week to sit on United's bench and be a domestic box tick I think we can call time on the game as a whole.

If they think Onana is bad, heaven forbid Pears has to start games for them.

Please make it happen.

Can’t be to be their main reserve keeper? Main main gets injured in say September and he’s in goal till at least January?

Has to be a Scott Carson style English box tick third keeper that turns up to training, dives around a bit and then goes home with his 40k, surely?

From what has been reported in a recent weeks that Amorim wants to get rid of both keepers and bring in his own keepers.

The rumour is they want Brighton keeper Verbruggen has their new number 1.

Brighton have Steele as number 2 keeper when he was not injury, so I see Pears being number 2 there in similar way to Brighton

I would like Toth in the next 4 games and given yesterday was his first game in 2 months, can't be easy coming in with lack of game time.

I do agree if Toth is staying then I would look to experience keeper but if we are looking for 2 keepers signing then I would look for younger type of keeper(20-24) and then more experience one (29-32) as signings if it was me

We faced 3 shots on target yesterday - there is literally zero chance that Pears saves all 3.

And that's not counting the 'fingertip save' onto the underside of the bar, as claimed by the Rovers social media team.

Personally I'd stick Michalski in and let him finish the season for us, but Toth is several levels better than Pears, so it's better than sticking with Calamity.

Hopefully he's played his last game for us.

I only remember one shot on target near the end straight at him. Pears would have also kept a clean sheet, a mixture of

Pears is really poor but Toth has not shown enough to suggest that he is "several levels better." He has only played 4 games, against Boro he was fairly untested although did set them up for one chance with a terrible kick, yesterday again fairly untested but did nearly concede by charging out and totally missing the ball on a few occasions, and in the other 2 games v Wolves and Coventry he made terrible mistakes that led to goals.
