He’s absolutely fucking bang average and won’t have a career above championship level. pears was at fault for the first goal but i agree about moran ,he`s a little boy playing in mens football 1 Quote

Bethnal Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Swansea can put this to bed, here. One more and they’re out of sight and can rotate some minutes on/save some legs. We’ve got to pull at least one back this half if we have any desire of coming away with much-needed points. Quote

I like Scott, but even he would admit that we shouldn’t be relying on him to get the ball to the forwards. Imagine being in a team with those 2 as your midfield enforcers, creators and tempo setters. Laughable. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted March 2, 2024 Backroom Posted March 2, 2024 (edited) Are people genuinely surprised by this? It's exactly what I expected to happen. Not because of "tired legs" but because cup matches are total one offs and these players have largely only ever shown themselves to perform when there's no pressure and we're the underdogs. Going all the way back to Bowyer's time. Culture at the club is rotten and it seeps into everything. One cup match changes nothing unfortunately. Edited March 2, 2024 by DE. 6 Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Just now, Eddie said: Gallagher is such a donkey. Zero chance he was going to beat 3 defenders, but has an easy pass to Brittain in space. Instead he has his head down, zero awareness, and in the end is only slightly saved by the fact that the ball somehow found its way to Brittain. And instantly 2-0 down. Giving the ball away in midfield cheaply. Inability to close down yet again and I'm not entirely sure how to describe what Pears has just done. As I've repeatedly said about Gallagher - hell of an athlete, but he's never a footballer. 1 Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 The manager they apparently lost confidence in has gone. The support they so desperately wanted from the fans (which they've always had imo) has been there both home and away and this is what they dish up. What more do you want lads? 4 Quote
moerpho Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 I give up. Feel really bad for those who travelled. Quote

He’s at fault for that goal for me tbf. 1 Quote

booth Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 More poor decision making from Brittain in the final third. Quote

Sparks Rover Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Fuck me, quelle suprise, Bucko back in and the midfield is weak as piss 2 Quote

He's relatively big and strong, but he doesn't have a ton of pace. He's the level of athlete you would genuinely expect in the Championship. Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 eustace finding out about his team and who needs to **** off for next season, unfortunately he won`t be able to replace who he wants to get rid off due to our rancid owners Quote

There are a few that you can see work their socks off and find the quality within themselves regularly, but there are a good few more than that who aren’t. You can forgive a lack of talent, you can’t forgive lack of effort/fight. 3 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Kind of expecting this. We are so screwed. Quote

Eddie Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Sell Pears. Let's hope that someone watched that cup game and thought that he was Premier League quality. Get rid ASAP. 1 Quote
Roverthechimp Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Moran is not a cm - Garrett should be playing today 2 Quote

Neal Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 No plan B after conceding the first, 11 men behind the ball, no high press trying to get back into the game. Not that they're better than us just shit tactics, shit mentality, shit preparation and shit performance. Disgrace the lot of them on and off the pitch. 1 Quote

TugaysMarlboro Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Pears is a semi decent shot stopper, that's it. 1 Quote

Yeh, new manager is useless - he has had a full pre-season and not had his first choice midfield sold or injured. 2 1 Quote
