Fleck out for the season. Another masterstroke by GB in the transfer market! Who'd have thought an old injury prone player would be, well, injured. What a transfer record than man has got!

Look at the actual injury. He has broken the plate in his shin and needs it replaced. No blame to anyone including GB it is just unlucky the plate broke after such a none tackle. It wasn't nasty or dangerous

Far too many people are very quick to judge without looking a context of the situation

Here some reading for people to do on plates in shin

You wouldn't touch him, any fan who did a bit of research after he signed saw that.

That isn't unlucky, it's extremely probable.

You are kidding yourself and low fan standards like this when it comes to judgement expectations of the club, in every transfer window are allowing it to sleepwalk into League One.

I meant it in a more symbolic way that everything GB touches in the transfer market is an absolute disaster.

It's unlucky that Rovers didnt have enough points to stay up at the end of the season. We shouldnt be blaming anyone, we are just unluckly.

You are spot on. I mean how unlucky to have trusted someone to send an E Mail, who didn't know the difference between the words Send and Save. Nearly all of the letters are the same, well at least 50% of them, as we have an S and and E in both words.

Just our luck that.

What about this tradition from Darmstadt when one of their Ultras is allowed to address the team on the pitch after the match. Can you imagine some of our darlings who are afraid of a bit of booing from a few fans.

He is saying bad words to me!!!!

Come on it was obviously a silly move for us at the time coming off such a long injury layoff at his age

I know he was free, but how much did we agree to pay him?

He looked miles overweight to me, when he did make the team, for those few minutes.

No prospect of injured players returning this side of the break so we are going to have to wee with the willy we've got.

If only we had the fight and character of Souness' time at Rovers.

Huge test of character tomorrow night.

We all feel assured and confident after that John lad 🙄

Yes, "we're a gashpit  of thirteen years' worth of venky guano, and with the odd exception, there's rubber dinghy men on the pitch. We can't win for toffee, and we just keep getting worse.

But we won't give up"

The Fleck signing was totally desperate, a massive gamble, I consider myself a positive fan at the best of times but even I can't sugar coat that one. As soon as you read he'd broke his leg twice you knew what was coming. I feel for the lad and I'd obviously love a fully fit Fleck in the team.

Only way it made sense if he was a regular unused sub and just in and around the dressing room to give out some experience to the younger lads, but now that's not even on the cards.

Doubt his experience could do anything about players not tracking back though...

Tronstad hasnt trained, Hedges still out, JRC still out. And Fleck done for the season. One kick to the plate he had in his leg only 17 minutes into his debut and thats it for his Rovers career. Some serious homework done.

Said it before, our medical / sports science department needs looking at.  IMO, something seriously wrong with the number of injuries we pick up and the length of time it takes to get players back.  Think it's just another example of how our club has been dumbed down.

Signing of Fleck was diabolically amateurish.  Had barely kicked a ball for 12 months following two broken leg issues.  We shouldn't have touched him with a barge pole.  Our medics and Broughton, IMO, need bollicking at the very least, if not sacking.

Is Broughton still here? That's two players he's signed (Ennis and Fleck) who haven't even been fit enough to play.

We must be living in some weird parallel universe where that's deemed acceptable.

Understand his garden is blooming!

Hopefully, we've seen the last of him.

In this article Eustace is quoted as saying Tronstad and Hedges might be available for tomorrow.

That could be kidology on the managers part, or perhaps he was having my brother on, as he told him over the weekend, he was out for 4 weeks with his ankle.

Speculation or fact?

It would be good if someone at the club could come out and explain WTF has happened over the past 2 months.

Wait wtf?

Is it normal for footballers to have plates in their legs and still be able to play? (It might be, I genuinely have no idea but it sounds like an injury just waiting to happen?)
