A point from every game and we will probably survive In view of our difficulties scoring and conceding soft goals I'd take another 1-1 That's 4 in a row absolutely spot on. Time to take this betting lark seriously 2 Quote

joey_big_nose Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Have to say it was so obvious what was going to happen with McFadz, when we got forward we played a high line and he was getting beaten for pace all the time. Hes a good player I think if you sitting deep but it was so obvious he needed to come off at half time. 2 Quote

No wins for Eustace in 7(?) now I think too. The form book has us as dead certs to go down, despite what the bookies say. 7 of the easiest games of the season as well. And yet he's spinning a point at home to Millwall/Plymouth as a positive result. Fuck off. 10 Quote

If they'd have equalised then at least we'd have had a chance of pushing to try and get a winner with 11. With 10, there was no chance of that. I'd say it's the shit passing, general decision making and apathy that lost 2 points today, not 10 men. Our play helped them more than it did us. Players like Wharton, Brittain, Gallagher and Dolan were constantly fucking up. 2 Quote
WacoRover Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 God bless the 14,108 today. To attend, is one thing, to pay to watch our chances of relevancy, is commendable, in my book. 2 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 (edited) Two wins in 19 makes some of the death spirals under Mowbray seem small fry. Surely we haven’t had as bad a run as that for many, many years. Even in the PL under the rat the stats couldn’t have been quite that dreadful. Edited March 9, 2024 by G Somerset Rover 1 Quote
yankfan Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 McFadz might have been our best performer in the second half. Quote
OsloRover Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 We never could beat poor sides. Have to hope we can take some points off the better ones. 1 Quote
Spankus Munky Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 The only team around us to have less return of points than us over last 7 League game is Rotherham... 7 games where we played 4 of the 7 against teams around us, while having a "New Manager Bounce". 3 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Apart from the first 10 minutes we were 2nd best and lucky to get a point out of that. Way beyond poor. 2 Quote

BigUts Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Genuinely think that's it. Down and done. I would genuinely be shocked if we stayed up now 1 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Lets be honest, we were lucky not to get beat 5-1 today. At home. To Plymouth. They somehow missed quite a few really good chances which would be goals on another day or against another side. We had 1 chance all game, when Siggy hit the bar. At home. To Plymouth. 5 Quote

Blue&WhiteArmy Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 I’ll be happy to see the back of most of these players, hardly an attachment with any, it’s depressing really. Not good enough. Sad times. 2 Quote
lraC Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 I said at half time, I was dreading the second half and that’s how it turned out. It was pretty obvious that the 3 at the back was not working, they had more one on ones than I can count. That proved the undoing, as the exact same move, a flick over the top, put their striker through and caused the red card. With no wins in 7 attempts now and a nailed on defeat next week, it is feeling like the point of no return to me. We are hardly going to sack the manager so quickly, but I’m afraid we picked a dud. 2 Quote

Warnock just left/quit/got fired. Why don't we sack this useless coach and get Warnock in to keep us up for the last couple of months 4 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Boro (a), Ipswich (h), Sunderland (a), Southampton (h), Bristol City (a), Leeds (a). We are doomed. At BEST, 1 point from either Ipswich or Bristol City. 2 Quote
