OldEwoodBlue Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 (edited) So if I have this right, since Eusless arrived, Sam Gallagher has been playing Centre Forward and has not had a single shot. Is it 7 games, no attempts ? What sort of Duck Egg is he ? Edited March 9, 2024 by OldEwoodBlue 2 Quote

Danishfan Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 So reassuring it it is, that our head coach doesn`t think this was a must win 🙈🤣 All is good then, Eustace? 🙈🤣 2 Quote

A point good in the circumstances. But 2 points from 3 relegation six pointers is terrible. Still no win for the manager. Shocking. Think he wanted a rest for a week or two and now got it. The manager should be ditched for going 5 at the back....a wise manager would start with Hyam and Wharton only as centre half's. Quote
neophox Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 It will be a miracle if we stay up and if we do we need to ditch the coach asap. 1 Quote

They somehow missed quite a few really good chances which would be goals on another day or against another side. We had 1 chance all game, when Siggy hit the bar. At home. To Plymouth. Yet some posters will come out and say Eustace has “shored up our defense” because we only conceded one. Cheltenham next week - blinkers are well and truely on for some Quote

sharpysharps86 Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 What an utterly hopeless situation. If JE can't get this team up for games against our relegation rivals then what chance do we have of staying up when it comes to taking on teams in the top half, and even worse the top 4! Boro will have a field day against us next weekend, and I dread to think what will happen when we go up against the likes of Leicester, Leeds, Southampton and Ipswich. Dreadful. We are as good as gone I'm afraid, and its exactly what the club deserves for continued mismanagement and budget cutting. 3 Quote
Armchair supporter supremo Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Jesus! Reading through these comments does make me think that you really do get the club that you deserve sometimes Eustace has come in at another dreadful period on and off the pitch and has been playing games back to back literally from day one without so much as an international break to spend a little extra time coaching and getting to know the players one to one. 2 3 Quote

Maybe so but a blind man on a galloping horse could see that the back five needed changing at half time today, let alone a professional football coach. 16 Quote

Yeah leave off Eustace. He's only had 7 winnable games. He'll turn it around once he's had a summer and the lower standard of teams in league 1 will really help. 7 Quote

Staying up is all that matters, it doesn’t look like Eustace and these players will achieve this. Quote

AllRoverAsia Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 (edited) "The Ballad of JE" will be released on the Chicken Shit Label on Relegation Day or when Waggott buys JE a tickling stick and a funny hat*, whichever comes first. "Togetherness, togetherness, the greatest gift that we posses We thank the Lord that we've been blessed With more than our share of togetherness. Ewood Park is a wonderful place We're just about the luckiest humans in the whole human race We've got no wins and we're not gold But we've got togetherness in our soul. Togetherness, togetherness, the greatest gift that we posses We thank the Lord that we've been blessed With more than our share of togetherness. A wise old manager said one time Togetherness is a frame of mind When you go to measuring your success Don't count your points count your togetherness Togetherness, togetherness, the greatest gift that we posses We thank the Lord that we've been blessed With more than our share of togetherness." * JE apparently already has a funny hat ** It's official, I have finally lost the plot ***And before I forget, FUCK OFF RAO VERMIN Edited March 9, 2024 by AllRoverAsia 6 Quote

Miller11 Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 (edited) Time to start asking some serious questions of the players now. Big bad JDT is long gone but they are still in victim mindset. Full of excuses, pass the blame, avoid accountability, take the easy way out at every opportunity, defeatist and soft as shite. Hyam, Brittain, Gallagher, Buckley, Sigurdsson should all be ashamed of themselves. Unfortunately the soft underbelly of this squad leaves us totally unprepared for anything resembling a relegation battle. There’s a few I’m being very generous to by not including them here, for example, how can Scott Wharton go from his Newcastle performance to the last couple he’s turned in. We are going down with a whimper. Unless there’s a minor miracle, and we are somehow able to replace some of those utter cowards from our severely depleted and unbalanced squad. roversfan99 Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 Another really poor day at the office. Eustace still to win a game and his counterproductive defensive tactics have played a major part today. McFadzean's influence has been overstated, hes far too slow to be playing at this level and having him in a back 3 didnt help in Plymouth repeatedly getting in behind and luckily for us in the first half they kept missing their chances. He cost us the game in the second half and yet weirdly got a standing ovation for doing so. Dont want to see him playing for us again, hes past it. Both him and Wharton in particular are dreadful on the ball too and coupled with the inept Wahlstedt, the ball was just brainlessly and repeatedly sliced out of play or straight back to Plymouth. There is just generally clearly a lack of plan in terms of attacking, Buckley had a shocker and just kept kicking the ball over his shoulder and back to Plymouth. Gallagher is having to play wide which we know is not effective, Sigurdsson is crap on the other side and our sole threat is Szmodics who has us still with a chance of staying up. Our only hope is the quantity of teams at the bottom as we need 2 from around 8 teams to accumulate less points. 1 Quote
RoversTilliDie Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 If it wasn't for a very soft red card decision, Rovers would have took the 3pts. What have referees got against Blackburn Rovers, they always seem to side with the visitors. One good thing Sam Szchmodics on target again. I can't believe Tyrys Dolan was on the bench, he's one of our best players this season. 11 Quote
