alex l
If they had really wanted to play on the 30 year anniversary and were committed to increasing attendance, they should have set prices at the 94/95 price (yep, probably unrealistic). By chance does anyway have the ST prices from 94/95 or indeed a tracker of how the prices have changed over the years?
levi
£300 for riverside but only first 300 new seats...and 300 original🤔

Think it said £349. Plus some kind of Riverside ballot. However the link to the article didn’t work. Elliott deleted the tweet. so that's why the article doesn't work
Hasta
First obvious WTF is that after the early bird ends, the price of a ticket for a 12 year old more than doubles to £120. Edited May 21, 2024 by Hasta

simongarnerisgod
fair play on the prices for youngsters, but why not just make it one price throughout the selling period,we ar`nt shifting many after the orginal early bird i can guarantee that, add the general malaise about the club and we`ll be lucky to sell any more than last season, there is the factor of us being on tv more as well, which will hinder sales any guesses on when the annual "we`ve got no money to spend on players" will be announced😉
Backroom Mike E Posted May 21, 2024 Backroom Share Posted May 21, 2024 I thought ‘fair enough’ at the early bird price, but the gouging in the following two phases really puts me off. As ever, a decent idea half-done.
Backroom Tom Posted May 21, 2024 Backroom Share Posted May 21, 2024 (edited) Just make the riverside £300 for all as now you have to gamble on taking a subjectively worse seat for a similar price or get lucky and get it cheaper The phase 3 prices are bonkers To be honest I’m not even considering it and to that extent feel for the clubs with the tide of the sky deal it’s just hard to make it a value proposition Edited May 21, 2024 by Tom
chaddyrovers
At last they have been announced now. I will renew as it a no brainer for me. Others will make their own decisions on their circumstances

When we only sell 600 in the stand it'll work out like that anyway. Or alternatively, even at a 1 in 2/3/4 chance, the odds aren't too bad. alex l
Having had all of an hour or so since the announcement, pricing should have been: £340 - Jack Walker upper central - to reflect Shearer's 34 league goals. £199.50 all other areas. At that price point, it isn't a a throwaway reference to the title winning year.
simongarnerisgod
they`ve added cat a+ for the walk on prices,no doubt for the visit of our dear rivals and other big clubs following, make of that what you will😒
OldEwoodBlue
This is just a stunt to get everyone to buy in the first month. That means they are already comitted when the transfer window unfolds, the reality sinks in & expectations are announced as avoiding finishing bottom. 3000 will probably fall for it. In fairness, the club and many other clubs have run early bird prices for as long as I can remember.
Mike Graham
The Club have clearly listened to the We Are The Rovers supporters trust and the Fans Forum. They have not gone as far as we would have wished but there are signs they have listened and acted in some areas We wanted a loyalty points scheme and we wanted an entry price for new fans in the Riverside albeit the Riverside offer structured differently. Clearly we would have wanted more but the Club is risk averse.; they would probably describe it as being careful. Positive moves…..We Are The Rovers will continue to influence.

Let’s agree to call this “a step in the right direction” rather than celebrate it as a success story. In my opinion tickets are still £100 too expensive, which is a hell of a lot of money in our region. Do we know if it’s still the same credit supplier? Hopefully we’re now using one that actually accepts people.
Backroom Tom Posted May 21, 2024 Backroom Share Posted May 21, 2024 I know all clubs do it but the early bird pricing just winds me up, keep the price at its lowest price and if you must offer an alternative benefit like £20 off a kit or £30 in food and drink vouchers or something for early adopters if you must It always just seems like a lazy effort with some gimmick thrown on top And if they need to do something like that then why not reward loyalty and those that have had tickets since 95 for example
