each person will make their own decision on whether they can or want to buy ST or not. Each person choice.

My decision is easy, I can make all 23 games, prices is more than decent enough for myself(I understand others might not and that's fair enough), and I enjoyed going to watch my Rovers team at Ewood Park

How do you know if you can make all 23 games? The fixtures aren't even out yet, let alone Sky getting their grubby mitts on them.

But the games will either be play on Friday night, Saturday dinner time, Saturday 3pm and Sunday dinner time. Maybe odd evening Saturday game. Plus any midweek or Bank Holiday games. I can get to all no problems just like I have done for games over years.

Harrogate Town's pricing. Obvious caveat is it's an affluent area but they also don't sell out and are in the fourth tier. Quite frightening prices for that level of football IMO

I noticed that, such a deceiving stat. Many die hards will have rushed to get them as they've been waiting so pissing long.  Still, Swag will have been straight on the blower reporting this 'stat' back to the wankers in Pune.

Our season ticket sales went up last season too.

We can all moan and groan, I’m as guilty as the rest, but the numbers don’t lie.

You’re right they don’t.

We have bounced between a pitiful 7k and a stil poor 9.5k+ STs for a decade, that’s the range. We all clutch our pearls every summer but in reality we’ll be in that range at the end of it. Going up or down a few hundred season to season means little in the grand scheme of things.

In reality what I think will happen, is a fair few existing ST holders will drop off due to another shambolic season, seeing one Saturday home win after October and now the Sky factor but that will largely be offset by a few newbies thinking it’s a decent enough price. The ‘churn’.

Treading water, just like the rest of the club

They were still 4000 short of where they should have been.

They did Gav but it was on the back of finishing seventh and two successful cup runs. There was a good feeling about the place and if the coming seasons deal was on the table then I believe we would have shifted a lot more. any marketeer would say strike whilst the iron is hot. I think this new offer will appeal to the majority of existing season ticket holders and It will induce quite a few new ones particularly with the under 12 price at £23. A close friend rang me yesterday asking about prices. He took his grandson to four or five games last season and when I told him how much it would be for the two of them he expressed a strong interest. As many have said on here they have to be priced right and this offer is a step in the right direction.

1200 in 12 hours has no meaning or context.

Even if the entire 9500 bought in the first 12 hours it would still be 9500.

The fact is they have been very clever here and have well and truely fucked WATR.

The pricing isn't attractive. The pricing is attractive to buy in phase 1 or not at all.

However everything else at the club is rotten. We are selling just to pay the bills (downgrading the squad) and cutting costs further.

When the ST sales have not increased and revenue is down, they will say to WATR, "see told you, cheap tickets don't work. Proven." Actually the primary reason will be the off field Venky shit show driving sensible fans away.

The only thing I find amusing is, with 18000 empty seats. They will let kids in at £12 (bum on a seat) but they won't let adults in for £200. There appears to be a conflict here which makes no sense. Whilst I see that a kid needs an adult, I don't see any evidence of new adults going just because they can take their kid for £12. More kids will certainly go but less adults. Revenue will be down. Club will say "told you". The season will be dire. More adults will walk away. More costs will be cut.

The reversal only starts when the Raos have left the club. Fact.

After last seasons nonsense on and off the pitch - how many did we lose at home ? - and the prospect of more sales and little in the way of buys this summer then if we hit 9k again the discount has done its job.

They should have done something several years ago to prevent it from slipping to 7k and instead boost what we had but this club  and CEO are never proactive, just reactive - after a period of delay !

Yep, the summer of 21/22 was the killer. Most clubs realised they needed to offer something enticing to get fans back after 18 months with them out the grounds, so we saw freezes and cuts across the game… here? A rise ‘oh and we’ll keep your unused ST money too’.

Result? Lowest ST sales in 30 years at 6,995 and it’s been a bloody slog trying to claw it back ever since.

No one has fucked over WATR and no one is trying to. What a strange comment to make.

Digitilisation eh @Blue n White Rover all about those thickos just learning to press a button....

The principle still stands. I managed to renew my ticket without any issues. Quick and easy.

Most season tickets sold on the first day ever. Imagine how many staff you’d need to process that…

No more than usual seeing as renewals have been done online for years anyway but penalising peoples freedom of choice at a club that will still only sell 9k tops is still pathetic.

As usual with you and your ilk zero concern for the many perfectly capable of pushing buttons who still ran into various issues and delays with the system.

I appreciate some can't afford to pay up front,, but I don't think you can knock £15 a game, or especially £16 for a dad and lad.

It's quite simple, if someone is true to their word and is staying away until Venky’s leave, then it wouldn't matter if they were free.
