I had a pair of really nice “ Pod’s “ back then. Sort of Man City blue but with perforated leather uppers. The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. They’ve stopped making them now. “ Pods “ have gone down market, “ Kickers “ have as well.

I got some “ Loakes “ loafers back in the day in Edinburgh. They still look like new and I must have had them at least 20 years.
