rovers11 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Come on Norwich, Hull, and Sunderland. Sunderland are useless so I don't expect any favours from them but Norwich have gone full strength and obviously Hull have too. I think Birmingham go down but we'll see. Going to be a very nervy 2 hours, especially if we concede early on and either Plymouth or Brum take the lead. Quote

Good luck getting fans through the gates to watch this dross next season. Tactics will be similar to Leeds and why would you and be wide open allowing Leicester attacking players more freedom and space 2 minutes ago, Hasta said: Norwich team looks fairly strong at Birmingham. Norwich still need to win and secure a playoff double header against Southampton not Leeds Quote

rovers11 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Leicester go full strength but I suspect they haven't trained a lot this week. They'll still beat us though. Quote
Penwortham Blue Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Not sure what Ayari need to do to get a start. Head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch, when he entered the fray against Coventry. 6 Quote

martonrover Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Our bench is so weak, and we will always struggle over a season as long as that is the case. With five substitutions possible it’s such a critical part of the modern game. 4 Quote

Hyam being AWOL automatically makes our backline faster. Not a bad thing. 1 Quote

True enough but at least Hyam and 37 year old Kyle McFadzean had a history of playing together. A new CH partnership in our most critical game of the season is hardly ideal. Quote

CAPT KAYOS Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 For me its the Plymouth result that will be the deciding factor Expect Big club to win /Weds to draw or win/ Plymouth ????? As for ours .. could go either way either an absolute tonking or a nicked win - doesn't wash for me about Leicester not being fussed - full house /have picked up form again / are deserved Champions/fans will be in party mode and loud and the stadium has decent acoustics - our lot couldn't cope with 7k Weds fans never mind 30k Leicester fans ( this is diff to Leeds as Leics will not have any pressure or nervous fans baying for blood) It will be depressing either way as we know what will become next season regardless (including losing Szmodics) , without the required change GOONS FROM PUNE OUT!!! 3 Quote

sympatheticclaret Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Just a thought ... I was at Turf Moor when we were presented with the old 4th Division Champions Trophy in our last home game of the 1991-92 season, against Wrexham. Full house, party atmosphere .... and we lost 1-2 to a Wrexham side we'd tubbed 6-2 at the Racecourse five months earlier. One of your own and a friend of mine, Vince O'Keefe was between the sticks for Wrexham that day .... 1 Quote
