superniko Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 I didn’t think we’d stay up by beating Leeds and Leicester away from home at the death 😂😂😂 5 Quote

Tugay-is-God Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 What a way to say goodbye. Could be a while till we see another like him in a Rovers shirt. 4 Quote

Mashed Potatoes Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Great day and congratulations to the players and John Eustace whose approach to saving the club from relegation was vindicated today. 7 12 Quote

Bbrovers2288 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 That was horrible. Far too close for comfort and F off hull, Norwich and Sunderland, absolute nobheads Horrible season, shame on you venkys , get spending or we all know what happens next year 3 Quote
Popular Post sharpysharps86 Posted May 4, 2024 Popular Post Posted May 4, 2024 We owe everything to Sammie Szmodics. The most talismanic player in a Rovers side since Alan Shearer IMO. 12 Quote
den Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) It should resonate with the club that if we’d lost - as expected, we would have been relegated. Edited May 4, 2024 by den 5 Quote
superniko Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) Words can’t describe what Sammie did for us this season, and today he was his usual superb self, both goals superb, the second had a touch of the Vardys about it, celebrating before it was in. Pickering, Tronstadt and McFadz I also thought were excellent today. Brittain and Gallagher weak links on our right hand side but not worth going into that when we’re on such a high. Delighted that ‘big club’ have dropped VENKYS OUT Edited May 4, 2024 by superniko 3 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 thank **** for that, one sobering thought,it`s a massive rebuilding job for next season, though having a useless manager and even worse owners means we are unlikely to be as happy this time next season 2 Quote
Mercer Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) Absolutely delighted we are safe, at least for another season. Thank you Sammie - you deserve far better than, IMO, our shambolic club. Good luck next season. The optimism in me says this close run debacle will serve as a platform/catalyst to better things, the realism tells me we are in a one way lift going downwards. Will enjoy some wonderful food and drink for the rest of the day in celebration. Edited May 4, 2024 by Mercer 4 Quote
booth Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 It's bizarre seeing newly promoted Leicester painting a smile on. Cheer up lads, we'd swap places with you. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Gallagher and Dolan useless. Szmodics has bailed us all out 1 Quote
AllRoverAsia Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Well done Rovers 😊 😊 😊 Thank you Leicester 😉 FO Brum 😂 😂 😂 , I would have been just as happy to see SW go down to the sewer I'm also pleased Ipswich get automatic promotion and that Plymouth stay up. 1 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 A very unexpected win. A team carried by one man. Take a bow Szmods. Now we sit back and see how Venkys/Maggot prepare us for relegation next season. 4 Quote
