I found him to be a decent chap.  I worked Graham & Brown for a couple of years or so and he'd always let you leave early if you were following Rovers.

His heart was always with Rovers. His enthusiasm for the club shone through every time I met him.

Oh for that sort of passion and affinity in the direction of the club now.

Had strong local roots with family business (Graham and Brown Wallpapers) and my goodness it showed in his passion for Rovers.

A very decent chap who no doubt will be sadly missed by all he knew.

He was my Dads uncle and an all round lovely person, always took the time to speak to me about Rovers every time I saw him, the most passionate fan I’ve ever met. He’ll be sorely missed by all.

Absolutely shocked to hear of the passing of David Brown. Met him years ago in the Jack Walker upper level. Always full of enthusiasm for Rovers and a very courteous and kind person. Rovers through and through. Thank you David for your tremendous loyal service to Blackburn Rovers. RIP

My uncle loved working at Graham and Brown because of how thoroughly decent he knew his bosses were.

As a grumpy fucker who didn’t have a good word to say about anybody, it’s the biggest compliment my uncle could give.
