FIXTURES 2024-25

Rovers making a massive song and dance about the fixture list release.

Surely absolutely nobody is looking forward to the new season, right?

We limped over the line last year. We DESPERATELY need reinforcements. I'm dreading another season with this squad.

Interesting looking at that there really are not many London clubs left in the Championship. QPR and Millwall only. Whilst the likes of Brentford, Fulham and Palace are all flourishing in the top league. The north/south divide feels like it's widening further.

Not a coincidence, sadly. Look at the places that have growing, younger populations with a few more quid in their back pocket, and you're mainly talking about London, large university cities and the wealthier areas of the South of England. The opposite to most large towns & small cities in the North & Midlands, so it's inevitable that more investors, players and fans are going to available to teams in the South unfortunately.

Unfortunately feels like inevitable conclusion of the economic changes since the end of the 70's.

Two promoted teams at home to start both with momentum. Norwich and Dingles away. Predicting nil points by end August.

I feel we now have a new draw specialist in charge so i expect that'll be the plan in a lot of games.
