Your analysis is massively skewed because of your dislike of Broughton.

Both he and what has followed have been massively hindered by the owners and the pathetic budget but still within that. 

You have missed Tronstad who Broughton signed who you coincedentally are the only one who doesnt rate him. Brittain and Hyam have also been good signings and are key players. Hill was a good loan signing.

On the flip side, Gueye cant surely be considered good value. He may be seen as that in the future and is getting better but he has 6 league goals. Same with Ohashi. If ACD was a good signing in theory then so was say Moran, but in reality hes been shit. Cantwell has been missed from the above, hes been rubbish. McFadzean played one league minute. Weimann has been a useful pick up, Batth and Beck have been good. The rest have ranged from ok to shocking.

We paid very good money for Hyam and Brittain. For me Hyam has been generally really poor and has a poor character. Brittain was generally awful until this season when he's finally started showing us the player we thought we were signing. I dont think either have been particular successes for the money paid.

Tronstad fair enough, I dont particularly rate him but I know most do. I also forgot Cantwell from last summer who's been really poor imo.

Gueye and Brittain cost the same amount. If one of the two has shown more value and I appreciate that one has been here for longer, then as it stands, it isnt Gueye.

7 or 8 apparently, which includes 2 that have played in the past couple of weeks (Tyjon & Montgomery)

So that would imply that the 7 or 8 includes only those who are currently part of the academy (ie not including Travis, Carter, Buckley, JRC, Wharton)

Also 1 in each position, so by a process of deduction, the following players will be in the first team squad next season unless we are also counting Leonard, Garrett etc as "academy players"?)

GK - Michalski

CB - Atcheson or Litherland

LB - Batty or Powell

RB - Duru

CM - Montgomery or Dunn

W - Gilsenan maybe?

S - Tyjon

I'll watch it later, but if he thinks 7 or 8 Academy players (not graduates [i.e. Travis, Wharton, Carter], players) will be part of the 25 man squad next season then we're going down.
