Where do your supporters live?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,
Would you complete our 90 second survey? The aim is to find out where supporters of your club live. When we get some responses, I will publish the stats here - it will show the towns/cities and countries where people live.

Here's the link to the survey: https://bit.ly/football-fan-survey   You might need to copy and paste the link into the browser tab.

It's about putting your club on the map, showing its support around the country and beyond. I'm an exile so I've got a personal interest in this.

Feel free to send the link to any football supporter you know.

The site Admin Josh gave me the OK to create this thread.

Thanks!

Welcome to BRFCS.

If you sense a bit of a negative vibe it's because the owners of our club are deliberately dismantling it piece by piece in a process that's been happening for the last 14 years. Naturally we're all a bit pissed off about it.

Other than that we're a friendly, jolly bunch.

Filled out the survey as well. Easy.

I've seen that you guys are having a difficult time.  Best of luck for the coming season.

I was going to start a thread and thought I'd just pop this in here.

I'm from Ireland and I've been a Blackburn fan for over 30 years (I'm 38 now) and would have regularly went over in my teenage years but then kids came etc and I haven't been over in a good 10 years now.

I decided as kids are grown up, I'm going to attend a few games this year home and away.

Im booked over to arrive in Manchester Friday 9th day of Derby home game and flying out following evening.

I'm just looking on recommendations for Hotel to stay in Blackburn on the Friday night and where is best to get few pints before game, after the game etc

Premier Inn M65 J4 is walking distance from Ewood. 👍

We've had 36 responses to the survey, so far. Five of those were from foreign countries - it's a small sample size, but that's around 14% of the responses.  I'll post all the stats when we get more data.
If you haven't taken the survey yet, here is the link: https://bit.ly/football-fan-survey
If you have problems with the link, copy and paste it into a browser tab.
Thanks.

Similar here. Born in Queen's Park but left the country ten years ago.

Questions about where you were born and grew up would be more telling.

They did a great pint of Thwaites Bitter in the Aqueduct.

I remember me and my mate in the pisser and some old guy we were talking to ripped his shirt open to show us his Rovers tattoo.

@DeeCee

I could be wrong here, but I recall buying 'The Sports Pink' from that shop many years ago, did it turn into a football programmes shop at one time, or am I making that up?

It was a general store when my parents had it, 56 to 61 but became the programme shop much later, sometime in the 70s I think?

Some of the older supporters on here may remember my mum and dad having trestles outside the shop on match days, mum with a pepper pot in case of any hassle 🙄😁
