Maybe they shouldn't have sold their number 9 striker in the window

You criticise Boro for selling their striker mid season.

The thing is, they have at least spent big money on the likes of Morgan Whittaker, Tommy Conway and Aidan Morris this season. Theyve also spent on fees for Burgzorg, Edmondson, Borges and Hamilton (which admittedly hasnt really worked). And the loans theyve signed notably Iling Junior and Ihehancho will be really expensive loans.

Compare that to us. We have brought in over 30m in fees and have spent about 2 or 3 million. Yet Boro in your mind get constant criticism and you defend our business.

Who is higher in the table currently?

Yes I do criticise them for selling the main striker mid season and when in the top 6/playoff place hunt. To me that is backward move. Also I wouldn't be sacking Carrick after you just sold the main goalscorer in January. Gibson has panic again for me yet again. If Carrick was the right choice 2 weeks then why not now?

They spend the money they received from Jones's sale on Whittaker buy.

What have Junior and Iheanacho done so far? zilch. Neil Warnock on Wednesday post match was far from impress Iheanacho performance against Sheffield United

I have made my opinion know on our transfer business and what I would have like but we are in the playoff place and 5th despite you thinking we aren't good enough

What have our 2 new strikers done?

Point being, if their transfer business in terms of sales and how much theyve reinvested is "backwards." Then what is going on here? But you have reverted back to thinking everything is rosy. The transfer business is good, the structure of the club is good and you cant fathom that the current interviewing process will be running at anything other than maximum efficiency.

They have invested some money back into the team this season as they always tend to. Whittaker, Conway, Morris, Burgzorg etc for decent fees.

League placing an another attempt at trying to paint me as "negative" is totally irrelevant to the point being made. Middlesborough have again reinvested far more of sales proceeds back into the squad and have a far healthier squad full of assets. Carrick however is not anywhere near as good a manager as Eustace is.

Completely and utter missing the point here. You keep comparing it to us which I wasn't doing but its fits your narrative yet again.

You can't sell your main striker mid season and not expect it to have a negative affect on the team. Thats was my point about backwards comment which you missed my point.

You can't sack Carrick 2 weeks later after selling his main striker. If true Gibson is panicking here in my opinion

Here a simple question given you mentioned Rovers in your post, would you take our league position and squad or take Boro league position and squad?

Obviously our league position but their squad.

I dont rate Carrick as a manager, hes a media darling who they forsee getting the United job one day so he gets hyped way beyond his limited capability.

My point was, it seems hypocritical to defend our transfer business in terms of spending/ambition when weve reinvested a fraction of what they have. I would agree that selling Latte Lath is clearly a blow.

Yet again you missed the points being made by myself and nowhere did I mentioned Rovers in my original post

i find it pretty surreal that leeds have so much of the football but do nothing with it,sunderland very comfortable and dangerous on the break,i would`nt want to be facing sunderland in the play offs, they`de have to much for us

If we get to the play-offs, I would not be afraid, of who we played.

Worst case scenario is we draw with Sheff U last game of the season and drop out of the playoffs whilst Burnley leapfrog Sheff into the automatics. Really hope Sheff just keep winning. And Leeds too

If we are in the play offs and Burnley need us to beat Sheffield United, I'd pick the team from the girls under 15s squad.

In that scenario I'd be playing 4 up top and sending keeper up for every corner in the last 10 minutes.
