I'd have liked to have watched Preston V Burnley in the cup this weekend, but as we both kick off at lunchtime for the purposes of "live streaming" it won't be possible.

Absolutely dreadful weekend of results.

We lost and everyone chasing won. I was then hoping Sheff U would beat leeds (who I think are going up anyway) to keep them ahead of the dingles. Not so.

Good crossers for their goal though from BBD.

I thought Leeds took over the game

Watching last night it was remarkable how much better both Leeds and Sheffield United looked compared to us.

No major revelation there, but the gap between ourselves as the top 3 is massive - even if we are only a couple of league places behind them.

We absolutely need Burnley to finish 3rd as I think we would have no chance against Sheffield United in the playoffs. Burnley's lack of goals at least means that we have a a chance if we can find a goal or two from somewhere.

It's looking increasingly grim for Derby at this point. Another defeat today leaves them bottom, and if Hull win their game in hand against Plymouth at home on Tuesday then Derby would be 7 points from safety.

They will be desperate regardless by next Saturday, and we've all seen this script before. Nonetheless even if you assume the high likelihood they'll take 3 points from us, it still looks like a monumental task for Eustace to keep them up now.

I’d have been happier if they had got a point today.

It just tees it up even more for next Saturday.

Coventry looking like the one to grab 5th or 6th.  Anyone watched any.of their games?  I was curious about the Lampard factor with the refs and favourable decisions.  Always seemed to me like both he and his England partner Stevie G got a pass from the refs.

They've spent A LOT of money (which they've earned through player sales) - it's why Robbins was sacked. He's an excellent manager at this level, but with the squad they've assembled they should have been pushing for the automatics.

They've won 8 out of 9 though so I'm sure they're getting plenty of favourable calls.

We’re slowly sliding backwards.

Struggle to see us finishing above Coventry, West Brom or Boro.

Need to get back to winning ways against Derby

West Brom and Boro fans are saying the same about us.

Still cant see the logic in them actively not wanting something which both financially and in terms of how it may reflect upon them, would be of massive benefit.

You also think Mowbray was a top manager as well though
