I really don’t have the same hostility towards Derby or Eustace that most seem to have, I don’t care if they stay up or go down. In my mind history won’t have Eustace as a villain in our story

Always loud and proud in decent numbers when they come to Rovers. Especially seeing as they get tonked away from home.

I love how they're saying we had no decent ownership until Jack Walker came along, despite us constantly challenging up at the top end of the table, winning the Full Members Cup and competeing in the newly introduced playoffs whilst they were in division 4 playing to crowds of 1500.

Complete lack of understanding or context to what I was saying. I was actually pointing out that prior to the venky virus we were the best run club in England, probably the world. If the club had been sold to anyone who actually had ambition to do something other than use the club as a dodgy financial tool then we'd be well up there. The history and standing of the club would attract players when in comparison to Brentford or Brighton.

I suppose generations of inbreeding have detrimental effects on people's mental abilities so I can't be too hardh on them for not understanding what I was on about.

Also, what's with the horse pictures? Have the started fiddling them now as well as fucking their sisters?

A strange bunch.

Derby 7 points adrift and looking as good as done, you literally couldn’t have picked a better team for them to come up against with our well known generosity

Pretty much all of their home games at the very least are in must-win territory now. Their remaining home games are:

Rovers (8th)
Coventry (5th)
PNE (15th)
Burnley (3rd)
Luton (22nd)
Stoke (20th)

Some tough games in there - Stoke and Luton games in particular likely to be crucial. If they very optimistically win 4 of those 6 games (keeping in mind they've only won 7 in the entire season) that would get them to 41 points. Realistically nowhere near enough to survive. So then they're going to need to take a fair few points from their away matches, which are:

Plymouth (23rd)
Swansea (16th)
Portsmouth (17th)
WBA (6th)
Hull (19th)
 

Overall you'd have to say they theoretically have more chance of picking up points against these teams, but the games being away is problematic, especially when you factor in Derby have only won one away game all season. The other six were all at home.

So yeah, they look like they are cooked. It would require a hell of a turnaround in form for them to escape the drop at this juncture.

Just told me to fuck off,  beat you at Ewood, usual response. No fun that lot. 

Had one on holiday a few years ago too, came up to me with his girlfriend/sister/waaaaaf (to quote the above) while I was sat having something to eat with the family, going on about the goal at Ewood. He was holding this girls hand, so I said why don't you and your sister stop holding hands go and sit back down over there before your mum gets jealous. That got another fuck off.

Oh, and for comparison, Rovers are 5th in the league table for home form (1.86 PPG, just behind Bumley on 2.06), whilst Derby are 23rd with 1.24 PPG. Away from home Rovers are 11th with 1.12 PPG and Derby are 22nd with 0.44 PPG.

Our recent away form is pretty poor having picked up just 3 points from 15 available. We've lost 4 of our last 5 away matches. However, Derby's home form in the last 5 matches is even worse, having picked up just a single point from their last 5 home matches.

So, the stats are in our favour... but...

If we keep playing the way we have the last 2 games they might upset the odds in that one. We’ve been all over the place.

If I was a Derby fan, I'd be most worried about the "winnable" home games under Eustace. The games where we should have being shown some initiative last season were the ones we struggled most in - Plymouth, Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday, Coventry.

Plymouth have the biggest problem.

25 of their 30 points have come at home.

However they've still got Sheff United, Leeds and an in-form Coventry to come to Home Park. Most of the games left against bottom half sides are away.

Their home game with Derby next weekend will be huge
