Bronzed A Donis Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Anyone seen anything about refunds ? I know the club will fight me tooth and nail for the cash, but I can't make the rearranged date. Quote

JHRover Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Still plenty of murmurs about Eustace being an option for the vacant Hull job. In the betting he is among the favourites. Skybet he's 6th favourite at 10/1 but on Oddschecker he's second favourite at 6/1 after Chris Hughton. Quote

He was ok once over but that was a while ago. Is it time to get worried ? Quote
JHRover Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 That it is even being considered by anyone anywhere as even remotely possible tells us all we need to know about where Rovers are as a club under this regime. I am worried that this sort of thing is happening quite a lot. Only in the last few weeks he's been among the favourites for both Hull and Coventry. Whether it happens or not there's usually a reason why names keep on getting linked elsewhere and it is suggestive either of an unsettled manager or other people knowing there is a problem. You don't get the likes of Carrick, Thorup, Cleverly or Corberan getting linked to clubs lower down the Championship. Yet Eustace is. That tells me something off somewhere. Quote

There is a problem; Rovers are owned by clueless Venkys. Eustace has done a good job so far, so it's not a stretch to assume that the bookies look at ambitious club owners who want to spend trying to prize him away from what could turn into a car crash at any moment. I can't imagine Eustace is too keen to go there - not unless there's been a massive falling out behind the scenes here. Quote
Gamst Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Eustace would be a very unlikely fit for Hull City as their owner is obsessed with attacking football. Quote

I think he'd spent a lot of money there on the proviso that they achieved the playoffs. Their completely limp performance in the final game was no doubt his undoing. Hey, at least they're trying to get promoted. Quote
roversfan99 Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Rosenior is close to getting the sack at Strasbourg. I think with the players at his disposal last season questions were understandably asked at not being top 6. Quote
rigger Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Tonights draw is good for us, with a win tomorrow we can gain two points on both teams. 2 Quote

Yeah, hoping for a draw, but Boro should have wrapped up the points. That header was a sitter and another couple of chances. 1 Quote

Burnley equaliser was bummed up as the goal of the season by the commentator but what the hell was the Boro keeper doing so far off his goaline? Poor keeping imho. 1 Quote

My mate messaged me, imagine the reaction if Pears let that in. Conditions were terrible, but you're right, it was a mistake. 2 Quote

Dodged the Hull bullet, but as I alluded to a few weeks ago there must be a reason that he is amongst the frontrunners every time a Championship job comes up. Must have allowed him a Clause in his contract making it relatively easy and or cheap for other Clubs to get him out of Ewood should other Clubs come calling. Hopefully won't be an imminent problem if results keep going well but he's had bugger all support off the owners to date. Quote

At a normal club this would be a push for the CEO to encourage the owners to back the manager well in January. We aren’t and he won’t and even if he did they wouldn’t. He’ll leave sooner rather than later and we’ll play the manager lottery again and next time Waggot might be successful in finding someone that will get us relegated. Same story every January 1 Quote
