Rogerb Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Talk sport suggests Tom Cleverly about to be sacked at Watford. Quote
Mattyblue Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Appointed in April 2024, quite a long stretch by their standards… 2 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 24 Backroom Posted January 24 Annoyingly Burnley will have chance to go top against Leeds Sheff United battering Hull but 2-0 down Quote
Lancaster Rover Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Championship really is a poor league this year. It’s a great spectacle as it’s so open but the top couple of teams are really poor in comparison to those who’ve been promoted over the last 6 or 7 years 2 Quote
Mattyblue Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Going to be right scrap down the bottom too. Good job we had that six game winning streak… 1 Quote

John Eustace as a notable former player there would likely be high on their list and he would welcome the opportunity to escape the ambitionless and shambolic Ewood Park. 2 Quote
Norbert Rassragr Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Eustace would be mental to go there. They'd sack him after a month. Quote
Groundhog Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Dull first half so far between them lot and Dirty Leeds The battle of which turd you'd rather scrape off your shoe Two pound shop Pep teams trying to out-sideways each other - like two crabs fighting over a pickled onion 4 Quote
Tugayisgod Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It's the worst Championship in terms of quality I can remember. Absolutely dire 3 Quote
Darrenbot Posted January 27 Posted January 27 The fact that these 2 are supposedly the best the Championship can offer show what a tripe division it is,mediocrity on show. 2 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted January 27 Posted January 27 before the match started i watch a load of 80`s football on you tube, proper blood and thunder, tackles flying in everywhere,100% removed from this tappy tappy shite from both sides tonight 1 Quote
Forever Blue Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 Who’s the Dingle on co-comms? Absolute weapon Quote
cesus Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I bet Sky are absolutely devastated that they pumped all the money into this league. It is bloody awful for non followers of the league and it isn't great for the followers. 5 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted January 27 Posted January 27 must be frustrating to be a leeds fan when you have lots of the football but don`t actually do much with it Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 27 Backroom Posted January 27 0-0 - the true winner is myself, as I didn’t watch a minute of it. Burnley do know how not to concede. Quote
1874 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 750 passes between the two of them and 1 shot on goal says it all about this dire game 2 Quote

Groundhog Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) Their goals against record this season is frankly bonkers, yet the two lads at the back don't look that good - yes they're quick and cover a lot of ground, and they seem to be able to stand up and snuff out 1 v 1s with ease, but I feel teams don't test them enough, we certainly didn't at Ewood - the commentators were waxing lyrical about them but I think I could have nodded away most of our attempts at crosses... They get a lot of praise for their long diagonal passes, but tonight almost every ball was hit long. Edited January 27 by Groundhog Quote
arbitro Posted January 28 Posted January 28 What an awful match at the Hovel last night. The lack of quality was the most apparent thing to me quickly followed by both teams continually giving the ball away. If anything I thought Leeds just shaded it but when you look at the cost to assemble both teams it strengthens my opinion of Eustace. Quote
