All the games between Rovers, B*rnley and Preston this season have been very close, cagey affairs and low on quality. Very much the local derby stereotype and this is shaping up similarly

They have a horrible run in (Leeds, Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Sunderland, West Brom, Boro, Norwich, QPR) 8 of the top 12 - 2 of which are themselves and us.

If the top two do pull away I'd be very interested to see if Burnley manage to rely on their late goals and wearing teams down if they have little to play for. Can see them dropping off to an average level (which would keep them well clear of 5th) but it's so hard to then pick it up when the play offs comes. Really hoping for Leeds on Monday night against Sunderland

If Burnley had a better manager they'd have a good chance of autos, considering how strong their defence is. Parker's limitations mean they're likely to end up in the playoffs, possibly even finishing 4th if Sunderland keep going as they have been. Playoffs are obviously a lottery, and the lack of goals must surely be a huge concern. We've now scored the same amount of goals as them this season, with a fraction of their budget.
