It's great to point the finger at them for anything, but I imagine pretty much any club's fans in the country would have done similar.

Football fans in general can't help themselves when it comes to things like that.

I'm not clever enough to come up with something like that but does the fact Coventry play Middlesbrough in the last game have a bearing on it?

Yep...

A lot of depends on how this weekend goes first, but essentially we'll be cheering on the Draw most likely in that match, or a Boro win (if they don't win this weekend). If Coventry win it, then we cannot catch them.

The pitch invasion, fans of any other club would do the same, to be fair.

Fair enough, it sounds like they've been goons with Hamza Choudhury and the Sheff United team bus.

Colour me surprised, Dingles behaving like neanderthals....

Ajayi, Swift & Diangana will be leaving West Brom on frees in the summer

Before anyone gets excited, this is because West Brom cannot afford to pay them what they want, so Rovers certainly will not be signing any of them

Well, here are the permutations needed as far as I can see.

Bookies suggest 25/1 shot so about 4 in 100 - can't be bothered working out my own odds, but will do so if we're still in the hunt next week.

Absolutely bonkers that we can still make it

And if we do we will be that team that come from nowhere and take the best form into the play offs

Only Rovers could be in the top 6 for a decent chunk of the season and then "come from nowhere" to get in the play offs

Won't happen though

Let's celebrate promotion by threatening Sheffield United players.

The Dingle calling him a 'f***ing goon'.

Oh the irony.

Let's not forget we had parachute payments but feckin blew it big time.

That season the teams with pp Bolton finished 7th us 17th and Wolves got relegated.

The difference in finances now is off the chart

We have to hope Coventry don't win either game, as if they do, we can't catch them. If Boro won on Saturday though, it would need to be a draw, come what may, as a won for either side, means, we can't catch one of them and then, we would be relying on Bristol City losing both or losing and drawing.

That’s a shame. I always thought highly of Swift but if West Brom can’t afford his wages there’s no hope we’re paying him what he wants.

worst kept secret that everyone in burnley is well behind in the evolution race

killing a nottingham forest fan for daring to travel to the ****hole .trying to do alterations to your own town because you lost a football match ,the countless racial taunts  to players and opposing fans, setting your managers wife on fire, waiting on a motorway to throw objects at team coaches and the general retarded behaviour from yesterday when you should be celebrating amongst yourselves

sea horses have got a bigger iq than that lot

Seem to remember our 'fans' at the end of the Oxford match (last match of the L1 season) showing huge restraint and obeying all requests not to invade the pitch 😉

Obviously not a fan, given his Knob End / Dingle connections, but listened to David Unsworth tonight on Radio Lancashire. He said that he felt like driving down to Brockhall and physically shaking the Rovers players as they had thrown away the chance to get the club promoted and really needed to take a good look at themselves after not dealing with Eustace leaving. He questioned how the senior players had let it happen and questioned the mentality of them, faced with adversity they should have been fired up. I have to agree with him, very few real leaders and I definitely include the skipper, Travis in that category.

Years ago, I think it was Jimmy Mullin's wife was set on fire in a Burnley chippy.

Legitimately a true story!
