yankfan Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 That hedges run highlights the need for a winger. He’s in 1 v 1 20 yards out running at pace and rather than having a go at the defenders plays it wide to Pickering for a cross that’s deflected. Was the time to be selfish and creat the chance not go wider allowing the defense to recover 1 Quote

Forever Blue Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Hedges is too one paced to be an effective winger. No pace on the other side either. We’re still a slow team. 1 Quote

B16Rover Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Hi, I am a new Blackburn Rovers fan having only followed the club since we signed Sam Gallagher. Can any kind soul please explain what the new striker is doing when the ball lands near his head or when he has his back to a defender or when he stands in the box when a cross is made. Why isn't he playing out in the wing? 5 Quote
ItsRoverZ Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Super ty! Love the movement from mak so far! 1 Quote

yankfan Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 That goal scored by Dolan but belongs to Travis. Excellent work by him 4 Quote
imy9 Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 A really well worked goal, Trav did brilliantly (or should I say Travino!) and Gueye set it up nicely 3 Quote

CambridgeRover Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 nice combo from Tronstad and Travis in the making Quote
Bethnal Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 Gonna go out on a limb and say Big Mak is gonna be a cult hero. Impressive first 20 of his career. Opening night fluffing your lines is forgiven when you’re otherwise as dynamic as he is. 2 Quote
