Yeah... I was a bit concerned when Broughton was dropped as while his signings were very hit and miss he at least seemed to have an idea about the future... But tbf Park and Gestede seem to have found some real quality.

Think I remember Glenn saying on here Waggott saying Broughton was bobbins and the scouts could do just as good a job. And looks like he was right.

Another season of averaging conceding two goals a game ahead, then. Was hoping with Eustace we'd at least leave that behind, as he's supposed to be good at keeping it tight at the back. Granted with Pears in goal that's arguably an impossible task, but then we need to stop pissing about with haggling on goalkeepers and just get someone in.

Aside from that one good save, Pears has been the big negative in this game - he's conceded 2 and very lucky not to have conceded more.

GK is a HUGE priority for the rest of the window now.

Even that good save comes with the usual caveat of weak positioning.
