Tickets for Away Days

Recommended Posts

Myself and my son usually catch a Rovers game around his birthday. This year we were thinking of doing an away game instead. Can you get away tickets from the Rovers Website without a season ticket? Don't fancy ending up in a home end.

Apolgies if this is a stupid question.

Apart from the Dingles (and maybe Luton as a tiny allocation) every other away game will reach general sale.

Nice thinking Plymouth, would be nice to see us win. I think the last time we were there for a win was in the league 1 season.

No chance we are selling nearly 3,000 at Stoke or a West Brom before general sale (it won’t sell out on general sale either).

5,500 at PNE before general sale? At 12pm on a Sunday?

Sorry worded that wrong, The last time we saw Rovers win a game was the League 1 season was that really 2017/2018?

Was the Perterborough game game, we went 1 down and then Dack and Graham got 3 between them.

From personal experience I can also recommend Swansea away. Stay in Mumbles, plenty of bars, restaurants & the Gower is amazing. The Swansea stadium is great, plenty of seats, parking next to the ground.

To be fair, with the loyalty point system, games in the North West, Stoke and the West Midlands may sell before general sale. Plymouth is a guarantee to be free...

There must be 2.5k available total allocations for those if needed, no way are they selling out.

are away games tickets now online sale only?????

I phoned up the ticket office for Stockport tickets and was told that they hadn’t got them there, and could only get them online.

Complaint going in.

all part of the "digital role out"i suppose  which in essence means they can lay a few people off and save a couple of quid a year,it will be a complete disaster with a big allocation.i.e pne away, obviously did`nt take any notice of the cambridge cup tie last year

I made the point to the ticket office staff that they could be out of a job if it’s all online.

I also made the point that maybe we should have an online CEO to save money.

I’ve supported Rovers since 1976 and only ever seen us win at Plymouth once in 1992.

Used to hate the long journey back home to Blackburn.

when we played then there in the league one promotion game we lost 2-0. First defeat in 35 games.

Yes not a great ground for us, I’ve been many times and only ever seen us draw. Scott Sellers scored from a corner, the wind was that strong!

Peoples freedom of choice in buying tickets should never be taken away some prefer buying actual physical tickets often in person. No way should it be such a big deal to provide the most basic level of customer service for any football club and any savings making it all digi would be minimal.

I also believe these local institutions have a duty to provide jobs for local people instead of brassing everything off to some IT manager 200 miles away and paying him a fortune.

No no no. There will only be job losses if we go into administration.

But this year we have Wayne Rooney assuming he has not been sacked by October 😜
