Fuck it just live stream two lads playing the game on FIFA or whatever. No need to open the ground or pay the players then.

And presumably they'd take more money if they went down the cheap tickets option when you take into account food/drink sales. This should be a tenner for adults and a quid for kids. Capitalise on our decent start to the season and get a reasonable attendance. Still the school summer holidays - so no concern of school the next day for those of us with young kids wanting to go.

They normally are a tenner at this stage but i assume the opportunity to squeeze more out of one or two thousand Blackpool fans will be tempting. I said similar to my daughter yesterday when she asked if we were going: "If it's a tenner then yeah it's a no brainer. £30 and they can fuck right off!" 😆

I gather they lease out the catering to an external company, so they don't make much money from concessions. Baffling business decision I know, but that's Rovers for you.

tomphil
Why don't they give a discount to ST holders for these games it would be a nice incentive seeing as we struggle to sell 9k these days.

First two home cup games (should we get them) included in your ST. That way you can't upset the opposition with pricing as they have no say in it! Sorry, it's far too simple an idea I know. I'll get back to thinking inside the box!
Mattyblue
Used to do that, certainly recall the Dunn hattrick of penalties game being part of the season ticket.
MarkBRFC
Yep, the Rochdale and Portsmouth League cup games were included as part of the ST in 00/01, a gesture because of the terrible season we had the year before. Another gesture that season was that there was some kind of money back deal if we didn't at least finish in the top 6. They could do it back then as you were guaranteed two home cup games as the first and second round were both two legs. I don't recall us offering cup games in the ST before or since though. Mercer
Who will be in charge of Blackpool at Ewood following sacking of Critchley? If you have a spare tenner in your wallet then get on Alex Neil at 12/1!
