Rovers players footballing dads?

Hello. I thought I'd ask this here out of curiosity.. have you had many players whose fathers were famous footballers? At Stoke we had Viv Anderson and Jason Koumas' sons make their debuts for us the other night, which adds to an impressive lineup for us in recent years.. sons of:

Bryan Gunn
Viv Anderson
Paul Ince
Rory Delap
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Lou Macari
Jason Koumas
Kevin Campbell
Mamady Sidibe

Only a couple of players off a bloody strong XI, and we can make up the numbers with Tony Pulis, whose kid made a few nepo appearances for us, and Eidur Gudjohnsen's dad, who played for Iceland.

Feels like we're an anomaly.. pointless musing really, just wondering whether other teams can compare

Paul Warhurst’s dad was a good player at Man City I believe but that was before my time. We had “ Basil “ Rathbone back in the day. His lad was a decent midfielder at Rotherham the last I saw.

Peter Dobing’s dad was a top Rugby League player apparently. Again before my time, I think it was with Salford RLFC.

Warhurst’s dad was called Roy. He was a wing half in the 1950’s.

Walter Joyce and his son Warren both played for us, I think. Back in the 60s and 80s

Just checked. Warren never played for us. Sorry

Aynsley Pears' father, Stephen played in goal for Middlesbrough and he too was a keeper. Hopefully Isaac Dunn, son of David and current scholar at Brockhall makes the grade for us.

Isn't JDT's lad still with our academy as well?

Obviously young so time will tell if he makes it or not.

Yes. Bolton Wanderers, PNE, Plymouth Argyle, Burnley and Hull City.

One signed for Feyenoord in the summer. Think his other son is still at Rovers.

He’s at Gateshead now. He’s had a decent career in the lower leagues and now the Conference.

Not quite the question, but Kevin Gallagher’s grandad was a forward for Celtic, Patsy Gallagher. 

I think his uncle was also a player up in Scotland too

Patsy was/is one of the most famous/legendary Sellick players. A female relative currently plays for the Sellick women's team. I can't remember whether it is Kevin's daughter or his niece.
