I am on leg 7 of beat the drop with Paddy power, who have a special promotion on for a £250k pot. It’s normally £5K and 15 questions, although if you qualify for their weekly £5 free bet, it’s 12 questions not 15.

For those who don’t use it, the free to enter game, allows you to choose the outcome of an evenly balanced contest, including horse racing. You can put the lot on one outcome, or go 50/50 or any other split you want.

Whatever is in the pot at the end you win.

My choice for my next punt at question 7 is the whole £250k on City to win at Chelsea.

Should it win and I go 50/50 for the next 13 it’s a guaranteed £30

It’s good is best the drop. My best result was just shy of £200 on the standard free game

I have had a few smaller wins on Paddy Power and will be taking the £30 on offer this time, as I’m close to completing 50/50 since the City win.

Betfair are doing one too on their Sportsbook site. It starts at £1,000 and is 12 questions.

My late friend, a fellow Claret would cheerfully place  £3 each week on a Burnley win/ Blackburn lose " Double ", on each Saturday of the League season, occasionally accompanied by his wife shaking her head at the prospect ...

The 12th August 2017 was his finest hour, as Burnley won 3-2 away at Chelsea, whilst Rovers, in their brief stay in League 1, lost 3-1 at home to Doncaster Rovers  .... I can still recall the smile on his face as he walked away with over £120, with his stake covered for the rest of that season !! 😉

Following on from my previous post about taking games involving the Lancashire teams having over 2.5 goals in them, here is this week’s effort. 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Think you might be quids in there. Luton might need to get 3 though!
