Time and time again I have said that Pickering is a liability

Today we saw a real full back at large. Eustace has to stick to his principles - if you come in and play well you start next game. Beck looks 10x the player that Pickering is. What a signing

100%.

11 men we put them to the sword. No doubt in my mind on that one. Beaming with pride.

Without the ref on their side we'd have won that easily. He was the only thing that stopped them from completely bottling it.

Robbed by the officials, should be top of the league. Their United reject should have gone off and didn't.

Weimann, instant Rovers legend. Arrange the statue. That goal will be replayed over the years along with the locals crying behind the goal.

A shame for Dolan. A well taken goal disallowed.

Why didn't we strengthen in central defence?

We did, signed Batth remember?

1/10 is generous. Complete ruined the game, overturning goals, phantom red cards. Check his betting slips!

I don't know why he was not booked, same as Indo not know how he arrived at a lot of his decisions

If the new left back is as good as he looked today honestly could Pickering be a left footed CB? I've always thought he might be better centrally where his lack of pace wont be as exposed

i agree,it was the same with nyambe,he was a better centre back than full back

Brilliant result and continued start to the season, credit to eustace, don’t think anyone can say that they would still want jdt now

beck- brilliant, best debut I have seen in along time, without wanting to be critical to any player today , that’s how to stop crosses brittain

knew weimann was an astute signing, great player to have , more than capable of scoring those

yes we might have won with better officials but I am delighted with the point in the end as we were hanging on a bit being down to 10

Dare I say it, it’s quite good being a rovers supporter just now……

Need a proper CB.

Not to somehow shoehorn Pickering into the side merely for the sake of it.

He should have squared it to Weimann for a tap in, he should have laid it off to Travis at the end and he should have put a better through ball through to Ohashi.

He's a squad player - nothing wrong with that, he provides energy, but he's far too slow and wasteful with the ball.

Agreed. He’s definitely not worth the kind of money that he reckons he is. Did anyone come in for him this summer? A year left on the deal and nobody came in?

He needs to knuckle down and deliver this season.

A lot of talk about the goal being disallowed. "The game happens so quickly, it's a mistake but, but..."

Gueye is sent off. "Passions are running high but he knows what the rules are..."

So for the officials are allowed to make mistakes due to the game happening so quickly, but for the players it's different. Even though their adrenaline will be amped up 100x more.

I think to an extent referees should be given some leniency for mistakes because yeah refereeing can be hard. But that doesn't mean they are exempt from criticism when they have as poor a game as today's ref did.

He was abysmal

But since the rule is pretty cut and dry, do the gesture = yellow card, Gueye loses a bit of sympathy for me. Even if the rule is a silly one
