I might be alone but I think Vale has been busy and tidy. Deserves a goal.

He's worked hard (which is new for him) but he's clearly a level below this.

Duru looks a player and there still looks like there's plenty more to come from him yet.

Siggy has been poor in my opinion. Too many fouls given away. Needs to show more threat and be neater on the ball.

Bucky been good on the ball, I want to see him dominate in there a bit more. Looks like he could murder this lot if he just stepped the tempo up a bit.

Vale has had some build up play, for me Siggy has been the weakest. Together with maybe JRC.

Despite scoring against Oxford, JRC has been awful all season.

Ditto.

I think Vale and Duru have shown up very well. The rest of them - blimey. Very poor half

I don't think I've ever seen Sigurdsson play well. He doesn't even stand out against this level of opposition.

This is a borefest

Never once seen a performance from Vale that has impressed me

Today is no different

Time to say goodbye

Best I've seen him, but this is his maximum level.

Hope Tyjon gets some minutes. Duru looking bright going forward, but giving away too much space for the cross defensively. Very promising player though! Typical Siggy performance.

Weimann showing he can play on the right side of midfield, his legs have far from gone.

If Duru had the confidence to knock it past his man more (he’s been successful both times he’s done it), he could be genuinely superb.

Lack of pace in this squad is a real issue. Duru stands out in this regard.

Vale completely crap. Siggurdson flatters to deceive . We should be stuffing this lot. Nothing to beat but 1 nil isn't anything like enough. Bring the Japanese forward on. He'll kill it off!!

Sigurdsson isn't a winger - even at L1 level. I feel sorry for him really, forced out there because we don't have anyone else.

I don’t think he’s been as bad as everyone has made out.

To be honest, with Vale my expectations are low, so when he does something half-decent it catches my eye 😂

I think he's a decent technical footballer, which is probably why he's stuck around for so long, but he's a really average athlete (and prior to tonight his application has been diabolical) and he's just clearly a step too slow mentally for this level.

According to Transfermarkt, Sigurdson played his vast majority of his time in Russia as a 10.  By virtue of not having any pace in the squad he probably looks on par with the wingers at the club but for me he wasted out wide.

That was a non descript half of football

Duru looks decent. Gueye done ok.

siggy/Weiman/Vale all ponderous for me.  If  anything, Vale has been the livelier of the 3!

Weimann has been the classiest of the 3 behind Gueye - he has just enough pace to play out wide so carries a threat. Clearly a very clever player.

It'll come, he's making his full debut, he's clearly playing within himself - doesn't want to mess up.

Am I alone in thinking Pickering is bang average?

I think he's a very good footballer, but he's so slow that it drags his overall game down to bang average.

If I was playing against Rovers I'd just put my quickest winger on him all game and tell him to run in behind - he can't handle that.

No. We needed to try and improve that area of the pitch for a long time. He's a steady eddy type but any ambitious club would have signed better and had him as a squady.
