makes it ok then

Hell no.
I just didn’t know what topic to put it in.

Still haven’t gotten over yesterday’s performance. One poster really summed it up.

Nullus Arte - Nullus Labore

We can at least demand players giving their all

JRC’s poor form is mystifying unless he’s not properly fit in which case he shouldn’t be playing.

He had an absolute purple patch under Tomasson when he looked a top class player and possibly get a move to the Premier League. He was the best player on the pitch in that fantastic cup night at Leicester .

Strange

Eustsce should be banging on Waggott’s door this morning demanding action on more players. Last night showed it’s going to be a long hard season without instant reinforcements

Rankin-Costello just doesn't look physically fit enough in my opinion. He has been taken off in each of the three league games because he had run out of gas. He might be being nursed through training because of his injury record but right now we just can't rely on him to play a full game. I noticed last night he went down with what looked like cramp and if Eustace hadn't tried to be clever by changing half the team in one go then Rankin-Costello should have gone off. I like his aggression and we could well need that on Saturday but that has to be balanced against his fitness levels and current form.

We need to bring Travis on yesterday

Also I didn't understand why Eustace didn't play Hedges at left back and keep the same shape/Formation

Probably because Hedges isn’t, and has never been, a left back. About as random a comment as asking why he didn’t play Guaye in goal!!

I don't know, but did he look like a professional athlete at peak fitness last night to you?

He probably plays cos the manager likes him and we've got a shit squad.

I'm not defending his performance, he was abject, but to sell one of the few players with bite, drive and a bit of talent would be madness. Unless of course anyone thinks the money would be reinvested, in which case I don't want to hear from them.

He looked too casual to me, even for large spells of the first half. He nearly got caught in possession several times in that half. For their second goal, that's just under 12s level of awareness. To me, his attitude to the game was all wrong.

But to your main point, no I wouldn't sell him because we have seen him have stellar performances and help turn games round before. The JRC we have atm is a long way from the one of 12 to 18 months ago. But when you look how long he's been available and in training for, I cant see how he can't be fit unless he's got deep-rooted problems which he is never going to shake off.

Only seen highlights so not fit to comment on the game as a whole, but from a pure squad perspective it seems very strange to persist with JRC as an attacking midfielder when we've got loads of those and only one recognized right back, a position JRC could easily make his own and which would probably be better for his own career in the long run. Also noteable that Buckley's ability to thread a pass from midfield was key to us getting a penalty and our second best scoring opportunity, he's not a perfect player even at this level but we'd be a much more dangerous side if we found an effective place for him.

"I think I'm best in midfield, I think it suits my game more," he explained.

"I can get forward and help the team, I want to play box-to-box, get forward and help the team defensively.

"I enjoy it and I am still learning. As a professional, at this level, I haven't played that many games in there.

"I am getting used to it and enjoying it. Sonny (Tronstad) is very good, he does the stuff that maybe goes unnoticed. He does all of the dirty work and I enjoy working with him.

"It's been frustrating for me, I feel like my season has just got going and it's coming to an end really. I will do the right things over the summer break, keep my body right and I hope I'll be ok next season."

JRC is at his best at RB,,,bombing down the wings and cutting in more often than not...play him where he at his natural position instead of Brittain who is afraid of a tackle and is never up for a relegation battle...used to be a huge critic of the lad but play him where he fits and see what happens

Nail on head.

Posted several times that his offensive threat is best when coming from deep.

Not certain what has happened to JRC - for me the most worrying is his apparent lack of intensity. When at his best he would bust a gut to get back or forward. At the moment he seems to have lost that intensity to his game (even without his poor pass completion rate).

Absolutely shocking last night. Very poor performance!

JRC has always been physically below par. Hes always been slow, and when he was playing with more intensity he would get injured every 5 or 6 games. Unfortunately I dont think his body will ever allow him to be a top championship player. This season, his ability on the ball seems to have declined also.

After watching the game yesterday, I'm pretty sure the management team weren't that fussed about the game. Loads of subs at 1-0 up, and JE didnt look to be going mad on the sidelines.

Didn't think there were many positives really, Duru got some plaudits but to me didn't look anything other than steady away. Not particularly quick or attacking but did ok. The centre mid pair were miles off it. Huge drop off after Sondre and Trav.

There wouldn't be any takers for JRC certainly not in the Championship and clubs in L1 rarely pay significant transfer fees. His history of injuries and lack of pace would also count against him. He's simply not a Championship player.

It's a fairer shout than asking Sigurdsson to play as a LWB.

For me it was straight back to the Mowbray cup days, rest a few, give a few a run out, throw a kid in.

Those who get picked regularly just go through the motions as do the older lads and squad members. Some know they won't start the next match whatever they do and others just don't want to get injured.

Nobody particularly arsed including the staff.

Stark contrast to the JDT created play a young side and all can stake a claim for a start in the next match.

Poor attitude all around last night so lets hope it's a lot better on Saturday !

JRC on his day is a very decent midfielder. However, he is one of the slowest professional footballers I have ever seen. It is more apparent when he plays full back but his severe lack of pace is evident wherever he plays. He is a very capable squad player but IMHO is not a long term answer in our midfield.

Two defensive errors lost it for Rovers last night, the first a slip from Hyam allowed Blackpool to level. The second was Rovers from last season, 3 defenders backed off and stood about like statues while Blackpool waltzed into the box and took the lead. We can't be to harsh, the conditions were attrocious last night for 90 minutes and we made 7 changes.Another thing the referee got 1 out of 10 from me, he made some terrible decisions. A plus was Gestede on the scoresheet again, do is confidence a world of good.

Yet you were all full of praise for JRC, when he got Rovers back in the game against Oxford  on Saturday. Two faced values.
