Preston always seem to feck us up, last minute goal at Ewood which effectively sent us down to league one. Last minute goal at Deepdale to effectively put us out of play offs. They better not end out unbeaten start.

My goodness, Ohashi! The last player whose first few goals for us were of such quality was Shearer.

Wash your mouth out! Yuki San is a good finisher, but he isn't anywhere in Shearer's league.. However, it is brilliant to have a player on the pitch with such an obvious eye for goal.

Beck = Warnock

Yuki = Keegan

Cantwell = Bentley

This season only ends one way - going up!

I do think we have a very good chance based on the squad we've assembled and the manor in which we are playing.

I really don't think he said anything about Yuki being as good as Shearer. What he said was the goals he has scored for us have been incredible finishes and I for one completely agree, the diving header and the two strikes today are right up there as great finishes.

Great TEAM performance today, can't fault one person on their display today. Wonder if Liverpool would take a cheeky bid for Beck in January?

Also special word for Pears, looked like a No 1 today

Yeah i'll give the devil his due, he had a good game today and that brilliant save may have been the difference maker in how the game turned out.

Our great start continues. After concerns about what would happen after last season you have to say huge credit is due to the manager and the recruitment team.

On an absolute shoestring they've found two fantastic Championship CFs and an upgrade at LB, AMC (and possibly AMR and GK).

Pretty impressive.

A nice demolition of Preston will go down a treat!

According to some of them, their 1-1 draw against Boro = our first defeat.

Was a bit on the fence with Yuki - fantastic work rate, and surprisingly decent in the air despite being average size but thought hes not careful enough on the ball, quite wasteful and clumsy.... But very much like Szmodics he finds space and his finishing is phenomenal. Got more about him physically than Szmodics too..

Swapping Szmodics and Gallagher for Ohashi, Gueye and Cantwell is looking absolutely phenomenal business at the moment.

He’s got quick feet, he’s two footed and he makes his mind up early. Two great goals today, Sammi would have been proud of those.

The stats lie- they would suggest we fluked it but that was as comfortable a win in this league as they come. Strength front to back, left to right despite the makeshift looking line-up which were causing vapours on here from 2 to 3pm.

What I liked was our usually sloppy half hour was perhaps 8 minutes before half time and the ways we controlled the first 15 again then ripped into them at the start of the 2nd.

Trav took his gift with supreme composure and Ohashi smacked them home at the end of two devastating moves with the ball travelling quicker than the Robbins could reorganise from us taking the ball from them deep in our half.

Both previously first choice full backs out shows great strength in depth and so good to see the Cantwell, Tyjon and ACD cameos at the end.

Here's hoping Pompey hold the Baggies tomorrow so we can have a week rather than only a night dreaming the season had just ended..
