Genuinely amuses me that people complain that it has lost its working class roots and events x, y and z are the straw to break the camel's back. 

'Elite' level football lost any premise of being for the working classes decades ago. Stop funding it or suck it up.

I read about the ticket prices 2 days ago. Obscene. 

The ordinary, everyday supporter and their families will no doubt be priced out only to be replaced by "tourist fans" who won't particularly care if Villa win or lose.

villa hierarchy are assuming the fans will still attend despite the over the top prices,it`s up to the ordinary fan to say enough,im`e not paying that,but will they,that is the question

don`t think there will be many "tourist fans" either  birmingham is a bleak place and certainly not a city you would want to stay for a few days

There has already been a backlash. Hopefully lots of fans will just say enough is enough and Villa play in front of a half empty stadium.

What are Aston Villa champions of exactly? I can't remember them winning a fucking thing in the last 30 years.

They just need to change the name of the competition to the 'big clubs cup'.

Completely agree. Seeing the world’s best players play each other as often as they do isn’t good for the sport. It should be a special event.

City vs Real Madrid shouldn’t be a potential group game, ever. It deserves knockout football, just as Mbappe vs Haaland does.

There's just too many games for our 57 man squad.

He's not as good as he thinks he is. Let's see him do it at a club where he doesn't have an unlimited budget and the refs on the payroll. We'll see how good he is then.

In the last two games I've seen them they look shit. Absolutely no idea what to do other than pass pass pass pass pass.

Sporting obviously watched the Spurs game the other day and handled them in the exact same way.
