Got to go for 3 points here to keep the momentum going. QPR have only lost the one time this season, and haven’t lost away, will be a tough one.

Hedges Dolan Weiman

Gueye

Options off the bench: Cantwell, ACD, Yuki, Siggy

QPR are big lumps who are deadly at set pieces.

The defence can be got at.

The question is who learns best from the Preston match? QPR as a blueprint for how to play against us or Rovers for how to up our game against big physical opposition?

Pears OG.. oh dear that was unfortunate last time round.

What a change in squad. I hope Mak is back!

Can't say I have the most faith after yesterday's performance, we looked really bad going forward.

Hope we can see Cozier-Duberry from the start, he looks lively... Hedges is just too hesitant and predictable at times.

I’d start Duberry and hopefully Cantwell is only a game or 2 behind.

My front 4 for this game would be

Dubbery, Weinman , Dolan

                Gueye

I’d then replace Weinman with Cantwell once he’s fit….Definitely need a new LW in January and personally I’d off load Dolan if the right price comes in.

Can see another draw here.

Going for 0-0 again.

Ohh mate! I think we will do better against QPR. Less pressure as its not a derby and hopefully we get to play 11v 11. The red (well deserved) did change the dynamics of the game..also we should have started with mak against their huge defence and I think we will against QPR. Have faith

2 clean sheets behind us which is really positive so the back 4 picks itself at the moment. What I'm hoping is Eustace doesn't return to cautious ways at home and goes out to win this game.

I think this is the right game to start ACD ahead of Hedges. I like Hedges but we need a bit more attacking threat than what he's offering at the moment and Baker needs dropping because he offers absolutely nothing in that attacking midfield area. Perhaps start Weimann there instead. I'd still start Dolan as much as he makes me want to pull my hair out but wouldn't be surprised if Eustace seized the opportunity to start Cantwell instead.

I could see this being a tight game with nothing much in it therefore we need to be a lot better from set pieces. Our delivery and lack of quality supply into the box needs to improve, especially if Gueye starts up top which I'm confident he will. Big game for him because he needs to get up and running and get his first league goal but the lads behind him need to help with that.

Another tough to call game but one that is there to be won given QPR have had such an indifferent start to the season. Last season was our first home defeat to them in a really long time so I'm hoping we can correct that on Saturday.

Feels like a game for Gueye and I'd like to see him and Ohashi play together from the start. Dolan was poor yesterday, so doesn't really deserve to retain his place in the team IMO. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few changes.

Predicted team:

                      Pears

Carter      Batth      Hyam     Pickering

             Travis      Tronstad

ACD             Ohashi           Hedges

                    Gueye

Going for a narrow 2-1 win. Gueye to bag his first league goal hopefully.

Agreed. Hedges probably needs a rest too. He's been off form lately and had a big injury end of last season

Becks suspension will effect the back four. ACD showed nothing against Preston. Baker is being played out of position. Cantwell still looks miles off fitness wise.

Agree with all of this but despite ACD showing us nothing, he needs to be given a fair crack to actually show something, not fair to make any assumptions after a scrappy derby day draw coming on as a sub. Cantwell will probably be benched but wouldn't be surprised if he gets chucked in as a sink or swim from Eustace.

I'm wondering if JRC will come back in against these, and revert back to what the front 4 was in the first few games.

JRC Dolan Hedges

        Gueye

He should be chomping at the bit surely.
