We were poor in the last game. I'm talking actual playing on the pitch. We didn't score and never looked like scoring whereas in other games this season we've looked reasonably dangerous going forward.

I don't know about you but I was disappointed with only a draw against Nob End.

We didn't look like conceding either.

Neither team really got going (PNE were determined not to let us hit them on the counter) which is an unfortunate side effect of these noon kickoffs.

Another crappy kick off time, seems to be the norm this season. Hoping our home form continues and we smash these 3-0 like Bristol.

There main danger last season was the striker they sold to Bristol who came on last week and looked a handful again. They also haveI Ilias Chair who is good on the ball. Other than that dont know much about them.

I would like Gueye back up front to start and Baker/Dolan/Hedges replaced based on the last game for Cantwell/Duberry/Weimann.

Is it on TV?

Cantwell is miles away from being match-fit enough. I would start with Duberry/Ohashi/Weimann, behind Gueye.

He's a real quality player. Surprised that QPR have managed to hold onto him for so long. Would have thought a parachute club would have got him by now.

not been the same player since getting convicted of smashing a rock over a truck drivers head in belgium, looked like he was going to prison but his sentence has been reduced to community service

Q.P.R. have  won 1 drawn 4 and lost 1 so far. Q.P.R. 1 W.B.A. 3; Sheff u 2 Q.P.R.2;  Q.P.R 1 Plymouth 1; Luton 1 Q.P.R.2; Sheff W 1 Q.P.R. 1 and Q.P.R. 1 Millwall 1. There top scorer so far is Frey with 3, if we give it 100% I think we can take the points. We need to keep our 100% home record going, and keep it fortress Ewood. Blackburn Rovers 3 Q.P.R. 0.

Not sure it's at that stage yet. We were awful at Dumpdale, tactically poor and he didn't change it up soon enough.

Hoping for a win here to get us back on track.

Not surprising when they had count dracula playing for them, and dirty b---stards going in hard with 2 footed tackles. Lets put shitdale behind us, and move onwards and upwards.

given Eustace's pre match interviews and comments, my team would be

               Pears

Carter Batth Hyam Pickering

          Travis Tronstad

Dolan      Ohashi     Hedges

                Gueye

I don’t think you’re far off here. I personally would’ve given ACD a start but I can see JE playing two strikers to counter the imbalance of the team with two defensive fullbacks starting.

With two holding midfielders, three centre halves and our attacking players unable to make any impact, we were totally devoid of any creativity last week.

Whilst it was a poor performance going forward, I thoroughly enjoyed the clean sheet and credit to all for that. PNE are improving and I would have settled for a draw beforehand.

We are all enjoying this unbeaten start to the season, but let's not get carried away. We have now got a problem down our left hand side which will further negate our attacking threat.

I'm pretty sure Eustace will play Dolan on the left and Hedges on the right and focus on keeping our shape / clean sheet until later in the game.

No easy games in this division. I'm expecting a tough, hard fought battle tomorrow, with few goals.

Rovers to win 1-0.

Good summary.

I'll take a 1-0

Hopefully beck gets a good rest and comes back stronger.

At what point does he have a look at Buckley, who has looked fairly dominant in cup and youth games this season. Whilst the two defensive midfielders are useful in protecting our defence, they offer nothing creatively. I think Buckley as a sub at PNE last week might have kick started an attacking threat.

Our predicted line up tomorrow will help us at the back but how cautious do we need to be offensively?

What’s the Baker injury situation? Is he out for a while?

Apparently was taken off for tactical reasons, and only partially as a precaution.  But Eustace was not exactly honest about how injured/ill Sigurdsson and Brittain were before the Preston game, so make of that what you will

Both Travis (3) and Tronstad (2) are picking up a few yellows, so maybe soon

You don't think JE was honest about siggys illness? It seems like soggy got worse instead of better. He travelled but couldn't make the squad. I don't see any dishonesty there. More optimism from JEs part, wanting a quality player to get involved in the match squad when he maybe isn't quite ready.

Good point about the yellows. With two reds already I bet the refs are already thinking we are a rough team and maybe card heavy/treat us differently. Hopefully Trav avoids a yellow this weekend

He said Brittain and Siggy were fit for the PNE game in the article I linked,

They were not, and are are still not fit.

I don't mind it at all... Keep the opposition guessing about what team we can/will put out.  But it certainly isn't honest, and given his comments last week, I would not be surprised at all to see both start on Saturday after effectively ruling them out of contention this week

Yeh I read that too but the pre QPR comments suggest he thought siggy was well for the game and then his "illness " dragged on.. I am curious about the illness but No sign of dishonesty for me

"Cal wasn't quite ready and Siggy has still been poorly this week, he only trained on Saturday. It was a decision made on that as a result," Eustace told The Lancashire Telegraph.

Honesty (or lack thereof), or "mind games", call it what you will.  I am all for it

I think you are reading my comments as a negative thing.  They are not.  I think it is good that Eustace clouds some issues about player fitness in interviews

All good.

Hopefully we get Siggy back asap. I'm excited about the depth of our squad now..

Even Bucko is there and hasn't played but also no comments to suggest he is unhappy and Trav is back and playing and happy. Great stuff
