Not going to get carried away as there is a loooong way to go, but can't really argue with the results so far, especially considering what we were staring at in July.

Performances are a bit more inconsistent but that's just a Championship thing as much as a Rovers thing. Midweek games about to start so let's see how we fare as the fixtures start to pile up.

3 more points, another home win, and another game unbeaten. COYB!

Curious, I thought he looked very lively.

Good first touch, looks to have the ability to turn on the ball in a tight space and isn't afraid to get a shot away.

He's just not quick, sadly, but he's clearly a damn sight better than Hedges and should be starting games for us.

Agreed. Also he had 12 mins. Let's judge him over the course of a season. There is a thread for him 😉

I'm coming off Ewood happy and relaxed week after week. It's disconcerting.

Every player putting an absolute shift in for this team. The work rate off the ball is phenomenal. Thought Dolan was outstanding. Trav looks revitalised and loving life. Cantwell brings a real touch of class.

Odd to see Buckley get the nod for the armband over Hyam when Trav went off.

Awesome!!! The Dream continues. 4 games at home - all won with two clean sheets. 3 games away - all draws. Isn’t that the recipee to get to PL?

We were not at our best today but we look so solid. We are not giving away goals anymore. Want to score against us? Then you have to work for it! Another great performance from our defense even though I don’t agree with Bath MotM. Big positives was Travis, Dolan, Carter and Cantwell. Onwards and upwards!

Bit weird the lengths you are going to to try and prove your pre match point but you do you.

Neither were good today, Yuki fluffed a chance from 3 yards, Gueye had a silly effort from 45, not sure a battle of ‘which was least shit’ benefits anyone.

I’d have both in ahead of Hedges any day but if it’s just one then Gueye looks better from the start and Yuki better off the bench

It’s a shame you made it personal, but you do you. I’m just here to discuss the footy👍

I think that Batth goal is gonna end up going down as an own goal. Think it's the defender's foot slams it home.

Weirdly I thought there was a chance Trav’s goal could because it was an intentional touch but as it was on target I doubt it.

Even if it was two own goals it would be nice to win with no drama or worry!

It was on SKY

Cantwell was excellent. Ran the game for 20 minutes and won us the game.

Better half couldn't find it on Sky. Was it red button?

Lol.

How good a job is Eustace doing on three and six, a half eaten Mars bar and an empty Twix wrapper?

Great win!

I’m glad Eustace learnt from his mistakes last week and made more attacking changes for the second half.

Cantwell just adds that extra quality in the final third that we’ve been lacking.

Roll on Tuesday!

Even acknowledging we were up against 10 men in 2nd half, Cantwell was the catalyst for the transformation - he was a joy to watch with his vision, technique and passing ability.  The lad is going to be a big player for us.

Travis needs to be more selective in his aggression, carries on like this and he will soon be banned for 3 matches.

Beginning to wonder about Gueye!?

Some question marks against a number of players today, however, a win, a clean sheet and unbeaten after 7 and hopefully, onwards and upwards!   Confidence and momentum everything in this league and can take you a long, long way.

Your reply/argument to a comment earlier in the thread was simply just a laughing emoji - pot, kettle, black

If it could be maintained all season (it can't) then 100% yes. That's a 92 point season.

Well, not 100% yes...last season it would have meant finishing 3rd, and in the 16-17 season. So in the last 10 seasons, that's an 80% rate of automatic promotion with that points tally. And a 20% rate of going up as champions.

(CBA to look further back than the last 10, which is all that shows on the google table)

Cantwell passing looked very crisp and a class above today, what a difference.

Despite this, I don't expect him to start on Tuesday. Not fully fit yet and the game is soon after this one. Another half seems suitable.

It was the new streaming thing, so essentially red button.

He’s doing a great job. We were under no threat even when they had 11, but we offered very little ourselves.

Cantwell changed the game. He has an innate ability to find space like all the really good players do, he demands the ball and his passing is quality.
