pretty sure there will be a few changes on saturday,

Im not convinced... He will not be looking at anyone who came on as having earned a start.

Gueye will probably start ahead of Ohashi. But apart from that could be much the same team. The ballsy move would be to start JRC at RB, but away from home I think Eustace will stick with Carter.

Some of them need the hard word after tonight. For instance - I’d be saying to Dolan “ if I see you running with the ball towards your own goals again I’ll sub you off right away “.

I wouldn't be so polite!

An absolute waste of talent. Had near enough every PL club looking at him when he broke through….I remember being in a lounge and there were 11 (ELEVEN) PL scouts in there to watch Buckley. Seems to sink back and regress with every year that goes by…

What a pile of shite you spout. Comes on for 19 mins at 2-0 down and game over to replace a pathetic midfield duo of Travis and Tronstad who offered zero, zilch, fuck all going forward who got overrun and bullied by the mighty Coventry and it’s his fault we lose! Two holding midfielders who can’t hold nor can they create or even see a forward pass. Travis has had his usual 5 or 6 decent games for the season and will revert to type. Trondstad is better as the holding midfielder without another one in the team. You don’t need 2 dms in this league.

Classic Rovers, just has hope and expectation levels rise, the team put in a total no show and brings everyone back down to earth fast.

If I’d got a £1 for every time I’ve seen that happen I’d be rich. Div 4 Rochdale 3 - Div 1 Rovers 1 in the League Cup Semi Final was the first time for me but it wasn’t the last by a very long chalk.

It’s inexplicable why Rovers were so poor. Not one player played well. Soft first goal and ridiculous second, and zero reaction to both. We didn’t deserve to score and Coventry could have had 5.

It isn’t inexplicable Jim. This squad isn’t good enough. There isn’t what you could call a top Championship player to be seen.

I’ve seen guys miss a tackle for my rugby league team and they’re subbed off instantly.

the fact he ran 15 yards the wrong way then gave a hospital pass while still in acres of space makes me think he`s a bit feeble minded, tyreece has never been great with his decision making but tonight is the evidence that he is`nt going to ever improve on that facet of his game

People have short memories. A few months ago we were a Leicester goal away from relegation. We have not become prime Barca overnight and will lose games and put in some bad performances.

Gueye deserves a chance because Ohashi has done nothing for 3 games. But ive not seen much slagging off and one cross did go right to him and he totally misjudged it and it just bounced off him.

What service has Ohashi had to be honest in those games?

Decision making ability is as crucial as ball playing ability. You’ll never thrive as a player if you haven’t got both but you can be an ok player without terrific ball skills if you’re wide awake mentally and switched on. As Souey used to say - “ You need to be able to sense danger before it happens “.

I can take losing but I’ll never take being out enthused in a game. That’s another thing I’ve said more times about Rovers than I care to think about. I thought we’d turned a corner in that respect but obviously we haven’t.
