£349 for 17 games now, after the disappointing sales, adult in particular, what's folks views on this, how many do you think we'll realistically flog?

That should be MAXIMUM price (JW Upper) for 23 games.

Said this so many times about season tickets. Huddersfield a similar sized town to ours in every aspect. Made a massive decision in 16/17 dropped season tickets to £179, and they sold 15,500, which was up 40%, they also upped their match day sales by 35%, they also spent very similar to how we have this season, not crazy but sensible recruitment. They averaged over 20k and got promoted. I'm convinced that is what we have to do, to get fans back. We all know that though, waggot doesn't give a shit though. Also that buzz season's means they still get more season ticket holders than us, all these years later, in a lower division. Amazing what good marketing and pricing can do.

Rudy Gestede is on record as saying he wishes there were more loyal fans buying season tickets. That’s the same Rudy Gestede who, whilst under contract, publicly stated his desire to leave the club.

So show some fucking loyalty and spend some money, for Rudy.

He needs to have a word with his boss about pricing then.

Elephant's memory, eh?

It's like me, when I read the recent headlines from Phil Jones about how much he loves Rovers.

After his departure ( which did have a bit of a whiff about it), he said it was the worst day of his life, when Rovers won at Old Trafford with Steve Kean!

So forgive me if I can't get past the first sentence in the article about him...

If Gestede, Waggott, Pasha and all the other freeloaders want to set an example why don't they pay for their 'season tickets'? They will swan around the lounges and boardroom like royalty but not pay a penny for the privilege.

They just don't get it do they, get them on sale early , set them at a max £350, make it cheap in the Riverside  Sell 11-12k probably. If you were going to get a season ticket you'd do it 99% of the time when they are cheapest, not think oh well we're doing OK I'll get a 17 game one at a higher price than it was if I'd bought a full one on Phase 1.

If they said Swansea and Sheffield United will be £10 adults and £1 children as we want as many fans as possible to be able to get to Ewood to help continue this great start , season ticket holders will recieve a rebate to reflect this which can be debited immediately or taken off the cost of next year's season ticket. We hope to see as many fans as possible who otherwise wouldn't be there taking advantage of our pricing inspired by 94/95.

Fill as many as possible until end of November , then put out an enticing half season ticket offer. I am sure we'd get more in than the cost of extra few stewards and pies and long term feel good impact, seats at a tenner and young lad getting a shirt from club shop far outweighs this restrictive Waggot approach.

Might even make me get my ST back after Waggot forced me out.

The trouble now is that they've painted themselves into a corner - yet again - with their exhorbitant ST prices.

What they could do now is offer an incentive to those buying match tickets for a reduction on next season's STs.

Buy a match ticket, get £2 or so off next season's ST.

Fair do’s to the Club on this one!!

The Club appears to have kept to the script in this. I got a £26 partial refund of my senior Riverside ST cost in mid July. The Club emailed me confirming my random selection in the ballot.

The refund pays for my Plymouth away seat on Saturday.

A friend and his grandson both got refunds.

A quick read through the minutes of the recent fans forum meeting clearly demonstrates that the 'powers that be' haven't got a clue what they are doing on this subject.

That they seemed to expect a surge in sales after their behaviour over the last few years tells us all we need to know. Totally and utterly out of touch and to be honest quite an insult that they think people will simply ignore all that and renew regardless just because they imposed a minimal price cut IF you bought quickly.
