Eustace must have found a Magic Money Tree growing on the banks of the River Darwen.

Shush, don't tell everyone, Some guy in Pune gave Waggott some magic beans, and Rovers will have a war chest just as soon as the beanstalk grows and Yuki come back down from slaying a giant or 2

Alan Nixon saying Rovers want bring striker Oli McBurnie from Las Palmas. Dingles also interest.

Probably got that off here, as usual. Added in a Dingle link to wind us up.

Just watched a video from a couple of days ago with McBurnie saying how glad he is that he made the switch to Spain. Doesn’t sound like a man desperate to swap the Canaries for sunny Ewood.

Nixon saying it’s a loan deal rather than a permanent.

There was an article in my paper saying the same a couple of weeks ago. He’s out there with Scott McKenna.

McBurnie is just not going to happen.

Could’ve said the same about Cantwell.

It only happens if it’s a loan. It seems unlikely but there’s a few reasons that he might want to come back. Family haven’t settled? Not adjusting?

Is there any news of Germain? Has he kept up scoring

Expand

Majority of his goals scored before a head injury in the summer.  12 in 12 (which may well have been a purple patch) before the injury .  7 in 20 afterwards

However, He is out of contract in January, so he is Waggotts favourite price

To be fair he was probably literally right every time, that's how transfer rumours work.

Not if he said it on the ones we signed too, which is what the person you quoted was replying to. But yes, denying every rumour will statistically result in getting more right than wrong.

Could be.

Or, it could be we are actually interested in him. We’ve scouted him, put him in front of the manager who’s gone “YES!”, then we’ll approach his club in January and ask if they’ll give us him on loan and pay his wages for us. They tell us to piss off, he signs for a club ran by proper management, we buy another German sixth tier striker who’s miles off the pace, our manager is furious he thought he was getting proper players and questions the clubs ambitions, to which point our CEO says his target is to stay in the league despite being 5th in January.

I’ve seen all this before, which is why when it all plans out in the same way it always does I’ll be annoyed at our fans.

Think we were linked with him in previous windows so any interest is probably genuine but If we're looking for someone to fire a few goals to boost our promotion chances I'm not convinced he's the man. His stats look remarkably Gallagher like in that he's only reached double figures once since 2017.

Expensive and unprolific imo albeit from memory he's fairly nasty on the pitch and a bit of a handful etc.

Surely we could do better.

Why are you waiting to see something unfold so that you can be annoyed at our fans?

If that does unfold, you should aim your annoyance purely at the owners.

Is Mcburnie even that good?

Nope, his finishing ability is on par with Gallagher.

He's aggressive and decent in the air, but he's shite in front of goal - genuinely not much difference in playing Maktar.
