In terms of opportunity to spend in this window, Rovers could match Sheff Utd if the owners wanted to. 

Our owners are unimaginably wealthy, we have a massive FFP opportunity right now which will soon dwindle away due to the rolling 3 year rule. We could buy 5 really good players this window and be within the allowed spending limit for the current FFP period.

It's not a matter of having more cash it's a matter of having more ambition/interest/willingness/love for the club.

His work ethic has been called out by managers aswell.

He was available for a reasonable fee in the summer and ended up at newly promoted Oxford.

I am told by a friend of mine who works in a back office role at Fulham that we have been asking (with several others) about the availability of Martial Gobo. Apparently we enquired in the summer and were knocked back but he has since signed a new long term contract and can go out on loan only. I have no idea which of our lists he appears on (if any) and had never heard of the lad until about an hour ago !

Augustus Kargbo looks decent in this video, but we'll probably end up with Augustus Gloop instead.

The club wouldn't accept his resignation meaning the next club he managed would still have to buy him out of his contract (probably one of our only saleable assets).

He could resign end of the month having proved he's done a good job during water into wine, hope another champ club buys him out. Or wait for his contract to expire and move on a free but that runs the risk of people forgetting about his good job here.

I’ve never had an employment  contract which didn’t allow me to leave with due notice, my guess is that Eustace will probably have a 12 month notice period.

He's been discussed multiple times on here 

Apparently was close to a loan here on deadline day but Fulham didn't sign a player so kept him

Contracts might be between legal entitities and not an employer/employee relationship.

Terminating early may have penalty clauses - minimum buying out the contract but could be more if one party is not in agreement (ie our owners)

was making the squad due to Nelson’s injury there but has since returned to being out of it and given how close in the summer we where I’d say there’s a fair chance he ends up here

what striker with what budget and with so little time….

I'm distancing myself from the subject to be quite honest, January is depressing enough as it is. Fair play anyone who remains upbeat or remotely optimistic about this window, the Chaddys of the world. I however am fully expecting another catastrophic shit show.

Our parachute payments went into the pockets of Danny Murphy, Dixon Etuhu , Leon Best , a lot of agents and probably Steve Kean
