So the two crucial positions you need to win games in its basic form. Someone to score goals, we don't have, and someone to stop them, looking to sell. Brilliant all we need now is owners not to care..... wait We’re not in the business of winning games. The club is done. Come back when the venkys are gone.

Toth is an Hungarian international and don't want to sit on the bench week in and week out. He might be highly rated but hes a kid who hasnt played a minute of proper football. Toth stepped in v Coventry and looked shaky. Pears has gone from a liability to a steady keeper, I dont see how it is time for pastures new.

Not a chance we'd even think about trying to sign him but Carlton Morris is exactly what we need up front. I wonder how much Luton would take for him as I can see him moving on soon?

simongarnerisgod
very fanciful i know but can you imagine if eustace does manage to keep us in the top six,it will be panic overdrive in venkyland and in swagland, though after the transfer window closes there is very little they can do about it😆
Popular Post Bethnal
I’ve read in this thread that Suhail was crowing in the lounges about Thomas-Asante due to do a medical with us during the Portsmouth game. Don’t know if that’s true, but how a Rovers fan could hear that guy utter a word and not launch him through the lounge windows is beyond me. Suhail Pasha is - from as far as I can tell - about 80% responsible for where we are. The guy appears to have sourced and facilitated the deal via Kentaro. I think our owners are abhorrent, but I think he’s really the root cause of the drawn out death that’s happening to the club. @Herbie6590 very much right that he’s the one telling the owners not to spend. We’ve got a glorified orange juice salesman eyeing up a further 10+ years of salary, bonuses and basking in the reflected “glamour” from (in his own words) his “work in the M&A side of the Sports Business.” Reader, he brokered one deal and he’s still running the operations of that failed endeavour, hitting a distinctly mediocre note for over ten years of direct involvement. The guy shouldn’t feel welcome at Ewood and for each fan rubbing shoulders and listening doe-eyed to whatever fantasy he’s regaling you with, consider yourself redundant, you’re an enabler.
B16Rover
Another day gone. Boy am I glad there's no time sensitivity to football matches or the transfer window, imagine the trouble we'd be in if there was!
roversfan99
Suhail is a bigger problem than even Waggott in that he is essentially an extension of the owners. Venkys are the root problem though. Its not as if Venkys would spend but are being told not to. Its clear they just dont care. 4

Yesss! I can imagine the phone lines from Brockhall to Pune suddenly going white hot with expletives and threats to Waggott's goolies... If I'm honest, that would be my preferred scenario for this season - JE gets to show he is an alchemist of the finest pedigree, the players get the satisfaction of shoving their employer's disdain for them and the fans up their jacksy, and we my friends, get a trip to Wemberlee!! If there are any players reading this, or even the mighty JE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your best to get and stay fit, give the Venksters and the rag-salesman from Coalville a double digit salute and reap the rewards for being the best bunch of committed caring capable team-mates we have seen for many a year. Luton slogged their way out of the division the season before last - team spirit is alchemy, and if you've got a magic formula - DRINK THE FECK OUT OF IT LADS! COYB!!!
RoryRoversIreland
Doesn’t really matter about Pears. Makes sense if something needs to be paid for. That is the situation now. For me anyway. There are countless players that would have improved us snapped up. It’s over three weeks into the window and we are worse. Out fixtures have been kind this month, and only beat Portsmouth at Ewood. There is no ambition to go up. There never will be with these owners. And we all know that. It’s the hope that convinces you otherwise, which I understand. We will get some players this week, and they will probably be very very underwhelming. Adjusting the mentality now to avoid disappointment. We will never get promoted with Venkys.

Yesterday you told us that the owners have "run the club very poorly". That's about as far as your 'criticism' of the owners goes. Today "we are better at decision making" than Hull. Make your mind up. Our decisions in recent years regarding managerial appointments have clearly been better than Hull's. That doesn't leave me rattled in the slightest - but thanks for your concern for my welfare.
