Get the protests going!! Suhail and Venky get out

Doesn't work mate. I've been there and done them all. The best and only way is to not go and hurt them financially.

We have to agree to disagree on your main point whilst I respect your post above and opinion, I know we want quality signings in this winger. The window is hotting up and players are moving. Not seen any links to players in for us.

Rudy and Eustace should know their budget for the window and Rudy should be allow to authorise signings within that budget.

If Luton are buying another striker are one of their strikers available to sign. I would take Morris in a heartbeat and Woodrow would be good.

I will admitted that I thought we would have sign one attacking player by now. We seem to be messing around over small money difference for Kargbo. So do Rovers hierarchy(above Gestede and Eustace level) really want a playoff place or not? Massive doubts there for me.

I would like to one signing at least by Thursday please Rovers.

I'm starting to wonder if we should have signed him instead of Cantwell, would we be better off? Massive debate point and question

He's going to cost 10x what Cantwell did.

Thousands not going already. That doesn't work either.

Very good is a stretch. He has been good, mostly.

The problem with Pears is that theoughout his Rovers career he's always managed to string some games together where it looks like he's a solid dependable keeper... and then he'll single-handedly throw a game for no apparent reason.

It happens again and again, though I'll concede he lasted much longer than I expect before a complete blunder this year.

No, no, no. It's beyond doubt!

If Suhail Pasha is the only gateway to the owners, and they won't do their own research to realise he talking bollocks, then he's a massive problem and needs removing.

It won't work on Venkys but it could get Pasha out.

Kean and Anderson eventually went, as did Shebby and the odious Shaw.

Blackburn Rovers hope to make a breakthrough in their pursuit of further additions to the squad this week, The Lancashire Telegraph understands.

*There's the word hope again... that's literally all we can do these days with these owners and this board*

Therefore, all of the fan scrutiny has been directed to the board, with Eustace and the players retaining supporters' full backing. The familiar feeling of a head coach struggling without support in the transfer window has threatened to bubble over.

*Despite recent results, Eustace is one of the only things to be proud of currently, he will go on to bigger and better things, backed or not, he will see this board for what it is, come the summer when jobs become available, he will be off.. Will be a big loss*

The Rovers board are understood to be acutely aware of the current fan feeling and sentiment. The club remain confident of adding to Eustace's squad with several players before Monday's 11pm Deadline

*several players - I'll believe it when I see it.. no mention of quality either, so most likely several youngsters or has beens on loan/free*

Rovers would like to have one or two fresh faces signed before Friday's Lancashire derby against Preston North End. It is clear that the whole club would benefit from a boost and injection of positivity and the club want to provide ahead of the Ewood Park clash.

*would like - I'd like a million pounds, probably not happening anytime soon though*

Talks with possible targets are ongoing, though there is a concentrated effort for their activity to remain quiet; keeping their cards close to their chest.

*AKA - F**k all actually happening*

It's understood that Rovers, like most of the Championship, were interested in the Aston Villa star. He was set to join Middlesbrough until a last-minute pivot and instead, he will spend the rest of this term in East Yorkshire.

*Booo.... would of loved Louie Barry here, something different and will go far*

I'd love to be pleasantly surprised in the next few days but I've absolutely no faith or confidence in this board or ownership!

All of what is said there is free. It costs absolutely nothing to 'try'. It costs nothing to 'hope'. It costs nothing to contact other clubs and ask if they will heavily subsidise things. It costs nothing to whinge about a potential target opting to move to a rival instead of coming here. It costs nothing to claim, usually after the event when it is too late to do anything about it, that we were interested in x.y.z and wanted them here.

I would like a day where my football club is free from the shackles of Venky oppression, when we have trustworthy and honest people running the club. Unfortunately we don't always get what we want no matter how much we go on about it.

What costs is transfer and loan fees, signing on fees, decent wages and offering more than other clubs to ensure we get our targets.

Waggott surely would want promotion, financially he would benefit and it would reflect well on him. But hes more than happy just doing the bare minimum and certainly wouldnt push any buttons to get there.

In true chaddy style you've contradicted yourself completely there.

It's pathetic isn't it, "hope",  "would like", "several (crap) players".

Fuck off Waggott and Pasha.

When we lost to Bristol over the weekend and the heat started cranking up, I thought...

"Well the only bright side to this, is that it should at least speed the board up in the transfer market - despite the fact that they're all useless tossers"

Ever the optimist, I fancied them to have at least 1 in between then and now... but nope, 6 days before the window ends and nothing is even close.

What are these clowns actually doing?

It would benefit him but he isnt wiling to cause any risk of upsetting the overloads to show any ambition whatsoever to push for it, hes content in just doing as hes told and keeping his job. Ambitionless.

Sema, Forss, Toffolo, all sensible names that come straight into the side and hit the ground running.

Which is why none of them will happen.

Same guy who said those is saying Osula from Newcastle after the weekend. He’s their current second choice striker. Nonsense

Just to go back to this, nice attempt by the LT to try and credit the management with some intelligence or any semblance of a plan "keeping their cards close to their chest" etc but in reality the reason no-one has a clue what's going on is probably that we don't have many if any pre-determined targets but instead are just waiting to see who happens by chance to be made available on the cheap on deadline day.

Edit: "Roll up roll up for the Rovers pick and dip lucky mix!"

I'm sure it isn't the root cause of the issue but I'm also wondering what sort of hindrance it is to have employed someone as Sporting Director who has never operated in any comparable role before and seems to have got the job because he's an ex-player and was happy to follow Waggott around for free for a few months shadowing him.

Like I say, by no means the root cause but in their desperate bid to save money and take the easy route they've thrown a total novice into leading the sporting operation. He certainly wouldn't have got the equivalent job at a rival Championship club.

I find myself wondering if any of the owners, directors, management team sit and ask themselves this or whether they just shrug their shoulders and congratulate themselves on navigating another window without spending or increasing costs.

Ambition, expectation coupled with clear and set targets to achieve success comes from the very top in any Business.

We have Owners who have none of the above attributes.

A rudderless Ship,we are going nowhere...another day passes by in vain.
