This Hibs winger seems to be well liked and crucially would be permanent. Cissoko on loan much more underwhelming. But less costly so more likely to happen.

Rudy, in the absence of the chief scout during one of the only two periods where a scout can affect a football club - the manager has tasked you with finding a new player. 

He wants someone with championship experience, who will fit into the good squad dynamic we've got. 

 

Great boss, I'm on it.  I've found the perfect guy.  Little bit out him, never played at this level before and allegedly has quite a poor attitude. Strong chance we can't afford him either.  How's that sound?

Maybe an exploratory medical. Sometimes they agree in principal and when a players been injured, they’ll get them in for a thorough look at them.

Maybe he didn’t prove himself and that’s why we pushed on with Youan this aft? Maybe we’re planning on doing Cissoko and Youan with Siggy leaving and then BTA on a perm?

Possibility of pushing for both Youan and Cissokho? One loan one permanent and a possible exit as well?

 

wouldn’t surprise me, both will be earning relatively low wages at Plymouth and Hibs even if Youan commands a fee, it will be with a view to flogging him on in 18 months.

I know we were linked with him in the press, but genuinely nearly every Championship club and some prem clubs have been scouting him. 

Will be surprised if he isn't taken in the summer into a prem youth setup like Ash Phillips was.
