Eustace has confirmed no new signings will be done in time for PNE....Standard.

Useless tossers. Throw more points away, it’s worth the £200k we saved by holding out a little longer. Total morons in charge!!

Kargbo clearly got nothing to do with Eustace and another 'project' signing pushed by persons unknown.

Yawn.

Yeah and taken us nearly all window to get a player the manager hasnt picked

A player nobody else seems to want given we have had free reign to sign him

Utter rubbish waiting weeks for signings only for us to plump for a cheap gamble.

Guess the championship experience box was ticked with the signing of Forshaw

Cissoko Won’t be happening …. Kargbo set to fly in ….Still hoping Hibs lad will come in personally…. He can play across the forward line & is an upgrade on Dolan & Hedges who have 3 goals between them all season ….

Come on....you honestly think we are spending 2.5m between 2 players? If Cissoko isn't happening, then Youan definitely won't be.

I could be completely wrong but if the two that 'are close' to coming in are both wingers, that could mean they won't be bringing in a striker which I feel would be a big big mistake.

The media and club have heaped lots of praise of Gueye this week and rightly so after the last few performances but I would have put down a striker as being our number one priority this window, proven at this level too was important. Maybe the thinking is, get more pace on the wings and crosses will fall to Gueye so why bother buying another striker? I hope I'm wrong.

Kargbo can play centrally but I would have preferred an out and out striker.

HOPING to be pleasantly surprised before Monday night. EXPECTING not to be.

Seeing the links and if things are to be believed - we’ll be trying to sign Kargbo and the Hibs winger on permanent transfers. Not convinced we will pay two fees for those.

However, if we bring those two in, I would like to see a striker coming in on loan (Danns?) and a central midfielder on loan. Highly doubt we’ll bring in 4 permanent transfers.

Is this the best we can hope for? Not optimistic it’ll play out this way.

I hope Kargbo is the wide player replacing Hedges and we're still bringing in a goalscorer.

From his highlights he looks like he isn't the best finisher but is strong, nippy and can cross, has an eye for a through ball.

I'm expecting this guy to be another telalovic and shipped out in a year for half the price

He looks like a player to go into one of the wide forward positions, not a CF. I think he's left sided.

I just mean a lower league player that isn't up to it

A very telling line here I thought

it’s important to get that communication and Iv certainly had that this last week or so

what about Jan 1st when window opened

there surely can’t be any fans out there now still defending what’s blatantly obvious to see

Reads to me like Rovers leaked Cissoko being the second option as a “take it or leave it” to Kargbo’s team.

Exactly my thought as well. We still need a striker and a LB too.

This is what I was thinking.

Plus Ohashi will be back in a couple of weeks and we have Leonard.

I highly doubt that we will be buying two permanent wingers though, if Kargbo comes in then the hibs lad won't be.

He looks better than Telalovic. Stronger than Dolan and a big upgrade on Hedges, obviously with the caveat that he can do it in the championship. Still doesn't score enough to rest our hopes on.

"Blackburn Rovers are making a shock loan inquiry for Egyptian striker Mustafa Mohamed at Nantes.

Rovers are looking for a forward and have turned to Mohamed who is out of favour with the French side.

Mo Salah’s international sidekick Mohamed is available for a move to England on loan.

Mohamed is playing on and off for struggling French side Nantes and is being offered around to alert clubs at the bottom of the Premier League and in the Championship."

If we sign Kargbo and a LB, then we can play Beck as a winger as well. A striker will be a loan as we're too skint to buy anyone.

No chance of getting him.  He's got a decent record. There will be bigger clubs in for him. It will be the usual we made an offer but we were outbid

Exactly, Ohashi back and no loan for Leonard would make sense with two new wingers.

I also doubt both will be permanent, maybe Kargbo Perm and Cissoko Loan? Who knows, all a bit of a panic.
