The hastily and insanely rearranged QPR fixture and preparations for that meant that there was insufficient time / opportunity to concentrate on getting deals over the line.

They will use the fact John Park left and they couldn't bring in their preferred target as his replacement in time 

If we don't sign any player of decent pedigree tomorrow then no excuses should be accepted by any of the fan base 

I do think Danns looks a real talent and potentially could have an impact like Archer and Cannon did but if he is the striker brought in then money needs to be spent on a right winger who has goals in his game or another number 10.If we got a ten similar in style to Szmodic a player who gets in the box and has an eye for goal then I'd seriously consider putting Cantwell on the left or on the bench he hasn't done enough in the final third so far
