Can't say I know much about Ribeiro but he's certainly got experience on his CV. Played in the league before as well and has featured in the Europa League this season for Braga. Obviously not getting many opportunities at Braga who sit 4th in the Portuguese league. IF true then this is a better standard of player on paper than expected for LB cover.

For me it worked well when Pickering was LB and Beck was further forward. Also thought Cantwell was slightly better in those games too as Beck and him linked up well

All loans have to be registered it doesn’t matter their age.

I’d imagine if they have others lined up or manage to make some more signings Leonard/siggy leave and assume Scott Wharton won’t be registered this season as he’s not due to be fit until April/May

Happy with this left back cover at least he’s got experience & even more better that it’s in the championship …. Better than the other option of raw baby from the PL on his first venture out ….over 150 odd games at a good level ….

We need someone to take the load off Beck with Pickering being out for what seems like the rest of the season. Just a bit late, as always.

Any loan players must register regardless of age. 

Look like Sigurdsson or another one will need to Left out of the 25 man squad

If Riberio signs then that will be 25 without Wharton as he wasn't registered anyway.

Hopefully Hilton doesn't get registered and Siggy leaves to free up 2 more spots.

For the sake of cover, seems to be of a reasonable standard. 

Another loan so if its a straight loan its a bit meh. Hopefully an option to buy.

We’ve only got 1 left back. If Beck gets injured we’re fooked.

This LB would provide good support for Beck, and the option to push Beck forwards as well.

Maybe also with a view for a permanent transfer in the summer as well given Beck won't be around next season...

But this guy isn't replacing Beck and Beck rarely gets injured.  He's just another meh signing that will probably make half a dozen appearances then bugger off back to Portugal
