January Transfer window

Lancashire Telegraph coming up with nothing apart from announcements from other clubs signing players ! Usually, there is at least ‘Rovers expected to be busy today’ but today looks like we just waiting for the ‘Been told that is all for the evening and the window’.

Some interesting stuff....Burnley signed Ashley Barnes 35 some weeks ago... he's played in total 566 games in his career and scored 121 goals.

Jordan Rhodes, 34, has played 648 games and scored a staggering 247 career goals.....I wouldn't mind having Rhodes here to be fair as backup.

Well this shows how much my expectations has fallen.......

So Ribeiro and out of the blue striker is our only hope

Disaster of a day (window). If eustace gets up promoted he needs employing as the new pope

You've not been quite as in-the-knowy during this window Tommy... have you lost your source? Or, are you opting for an easier life after the shite you've had in the past for your scoops? 😅

We've already got Forshaw who can't run.

You're seeing it through decade old glasses.

There's a reason why (League One) Blackpool are getting shot.

If we're that desperate, Billy Sharp would be a better bet.

Strewth, this is what we've become!

Anyone else getting JDT deja vu from last year? One hour late to presser....

Has Eustace been banned from talking to press or is he just delayed at Brockhall whilst physically giving a makeover to Swag and Suhail Pasha. It won’t deliver a player but will at least make us all feel a lot better !

Swansea paying £400k loan fee for Lewis o’Brien, absurd to be fair. They must be desperate.

What's more absurd is that he's been at Forest for 3 years and barely played for them.

He must have been on top of the world as a 23 year old: leading Huddersfield to a Playoff final and being bought by the club that defeated them there for surely a glittering Premier League career.

Now at 26 he's been passed around more times than a cheap hooker - D.C. United, Middlesbrough, LA FC and now Swansea.

Apologies if already posted (and for the fact that it’s THAT lot), but this is actually quite funny.

As much as i loathe to give those lot any credit, they are very creative with their signing announcements. This one did make me chuckle.

(I'll now go and bathe in acid, to cleanse myself)

Our reliance on defensive solidity is why we've lost so many games 1-0, at this level you're going to get mistakes when playing such a high risk strategy of defence being your main form of attack. Our aim at times is to not lose, with winning being a happy by product, problem is when you do go behind a la Dingles home game it's then very hard for us to win. I think it also leaves us open to mental fatigue and at some point this season we'll get an absolute hiding from someone if say 2 of 4 defenders are below par

Do we watch different games?

Our defence isn't our 'main form of attack', we're just very well drilled and don't concede soft goals. We hardly park the bus.

Our attack breaks down because 2 of the 3/4 we have up there simply aren't consistently good enough.
