It's got absolutely nothing to do with him coming from Plymouth it's his performances for Rovers he's been awful & considering the money we've recouped over many years with these clowns at the helm we could easily have spent money on a Midfielder better than Forshaw 3 hours ago, rovers11 said: We are on the verge of just signing a cover left back, two appalling reserve players from Plymouth and Birmingham, and an unknown from Serie B after brining in £40m in transfer fees. Even by Venkys standards, that us utterly appalling. A lot of excellent business being done by many other clubs in the Championship. It's totally embarrassing what this club has become. Even if we do bring in a striker at this stage, it won't be anyone of any calibre. Personally feel like our striker search is doomed now that Danns has chosen Sunderland. Actually I'd be very careful writing off Sanderson of just yet he has competed better than most & got stuck in & obviously JE has worked with him before so knows what he brings to the table agree with you on Forshaw so far he has been poor if we had just been more creative we could've got LOB a much better physical player 3 Quote

Beck’s best position is where he’s playing now. I don’t think he’s particularly effective playing further forward full time. Only Rovers could make their one signing in a position where we are really strong. 4 Quote

Popular Post mustard Posted February 3 Popular Post Posted February 3 We’d be better off blooding youngsters like Tyjon from the bench than giving minutes to Woodrow. At least then we are developing our own talent. Christ, this is even worse than I thought and my expectations were rock bottom to begin with. 12 Quote

Yup this, his strength is tackling and stopping wingers , saw his attacking attributes on Friday when he should have scored 3 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Let's face it a fucking awful transfer window. usual, and repeat. will they just fuck off, I can't wait for the day, but at 61, will I ever see it. I won't my club back. hate what they are doing to us. 2 Quote
MB Rover Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I’m gonna go out on a limb and suggest that this cheap Woodrow signing won’t hit any magical last minute hiccups. 8 Quote

He’s missed a couple like that. Plus he’s better running from deep. 3 Quote

simongarnerisgod Posted February 3 Posted February 3 cauley woodrow ffs,if we`de signed him 5 seasons ago then fair enough, ffs signing players like that can`t be good for team morale or the managers sanity, seeing as eustace does`nt get involved in recruitment,id`e rather play tyjon tbh 1 Quote
waynerovers Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Forgot it was deadline day. Have we signed anyone, close to signing anyone? Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 This is possibly worse than that Leeds deadline day from a good few years ago, when they tweeted out telling everyone to stay up til late, only to announce they'd sold fringe player Matt Smith to Fulham 😂 1 Quote

We definitely needed a backup - especially with Duru and Batty hopefully maturing out on loan. You're right though, and it was shown again by the chance he blazed over against Preston, he's a LB through and through. Quote

Nic81 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I think we have some of the best fullbacks, central defenders and midfield pairing in the league. We absolutely need(ed) better reinforcements than Foreshaw (with Tronstad injured!) and a quality striker to take the pressure off Gueye and Ohashi who are learning the league. This guy is not it, so I really hope the rumours are not true. Kargbo better be good, or we haven’t improved where we needed there either. Cantwell will continue to struggle too if we don’t have quality around him (he may anyway but at least it would give him a better chance) 1 Quote
